Night World: The Huntress
A Brief Synopsis

Blood Fever

Professional Summary:
Jez Redfern is unique. She's a vampire hunter...who's half vampire. Raised in the Redfern family, the girl with fiery hair and silver-blue eyes was the undisputed leader of a gang of vampire raiders. Then came the discoery that shattered her life-her mother was a human. Now, Jez hunts her former friends, protecting humans from the Night World.
But when Circle Daybreak sends her on a search for one of the legendary Wild Powers, Jez has to rejoin her old gang. They want her back-especially Morgead, the gorgeous green-eyed vampire who used to be her second-in-command.
Jez awants to stay faithful to Hugh Davis, the human she loves. But Morgead swears he's her soulmate and he'll do anything to lure her back to the old ways. With danger and temptation all around, Jez finds herself irresistably drawn to him. And she's afraid that if she tastes blood again, she'll become the evil huntress she once was...

Diana's Opinion:
The main character in the book greatly reminded me of Rashel in "The Chosen." I like the fierceness of the main character and her independence while dealing with the bad things in her life. I also like the way she was portrayed as half-human, half-vampire. It was different from everything else and it definately captivated my attention. ^_^

Faye's Opinion:
I think this is my favorite book in NW aside from Soulmate. This is cool. Almost like a Romeo and Juliet story, but a little less sad. This book seemed very realistic to me, and I'm a big fan of bad girls, and I love the ending... The ending was very satisfying for me... I also liked the idea of a vampire gang, that was pretty cool too. I also loved the description of Jez riding her motorcycle... it made me want one. Just read the book.
