A Brief Synopsis

Journey into Fear

A Professional Summery:
They're gifted-and damned, linked by psychic powers, pursued by an evil genius determined to own them, body and soul. Kaitlyn Fairchild and her four friends have no choice: They must follow the dream that drives them onward to a lonely white house on a distint cliff. Kait fears the unknown. But the greatest threat is in their midst.
Dark, hypnotic Gabriel feeds on her life energy to sustain his own. Newcomer Lydia says she's one of them. But is she? Someone is trying to divide and conquer, to make them psychic slaves before they reach their journey's end...

Diana's Opinion:

I thought that this book was really just a bridge between "The Strange Power" and "The Passion." It was good and it had a lot of information that was important (like Kait's dillemma between Gab and Rob) but at times I wish that there was a little more within it. I've got to read it again, it's been a while.

Once again, the second book proves to be a link between the good first book and the amazing third. I think that its a nice way to give you a breather, and let the characterizations sink in before you get slammed with the final conflict. And the final conflict is always so good. I wish that there had been more characterization with Anna and Lewis. They are cool characters that were never really fully developed to the extent that the remaining characters.
