Character Descriptions
Portia Bainbridge-Going to be a Junior and placed 5th in Extemporaneous speaking. Has two brothers that go to MIT; one was on the debate team that went to the world Debate tour in Scotland two years ago and the other is in the pistol club.
Cassie Blake-She used to live in Reseda California with her mother (her father ran away when they were younger) and is a quiet girl. Moved to New Salem with her mom when her grandmother got sick (this is the only reason given). She used to write poetry every now and then.
Adam Conant-He was wearing a pair of ruffed cutoff shorts and t-shirt that had seen better days. He has eyes that are blue-grey like the sea at it's most mysterious arresting, and intriging face. High Cheekbones and a determinded mouth. His eyes also sparkle like sun glintiering off the waves and redish hair that isn't just red but has several different colors in it.
Raij-This is Adam's Dog. He has short-birstly hairs on his nose. He's a German Shepard and is seen as a big handsome dog with liquid intelligent brown eyes and a laughing mouth.

Fun Facts
-Did you know that the spells are real spells in life even though in two of the three books it warns people that the spells are from the imagination of the author. One reader wrote in and said that the actual denomination was Alexandrian (supposedly, the Alexandrian Coven Priestess was one of her good friends).

-From Boston to the Cape is the South Shore and from Boston up to New Hamshire is called the North Shore.
-In page 13 there was a spelling error where splashing was spelt 'plashing'.
