This last picture is the "Well of the Dead."  The sign (which did not scan clearly) says: "Here died Alasdair MacGillivray of Dunmaglass, Commander of the Clan Chattan regiment, with many other Jacobite troops."
 
 

We sunned ourselves at a stop-off point by Loch Ness on the way back.  Yes, sunned.  It had been sunny since Sunday afternoon.

We sat down to watch HL1 this evening.  It was unique to finally get to watch it together, and sort of strange to recognize first-hand some of the locations.
