This ex-F.B.I. agent claims to be an abductee. Playing off his fear of another visit from "them", shadowy government figures manipulate Duane into kidnapping Scully. He then proceeds to offer her up to his abductors, hoping to avoid becoming a victim once more. In order to keep the truth from being known, Duane is murdered by the same government entity responsible for his manipulation and possibly for his abductions as well. |

After watching hours of cable television, Patnik (Wetwired) goes berserk and embarks on a murdering rampage. Mulder discovers that a video trap device has been used to induce his violent behavior. It appears as if the government is conducting experiments on mind control. Before Mulder can get to the truth, Patnik's doctor and the cable technician are eliminated. |
