Accepted
There are two stages before a woman can become Aes Sedai. The second
is Accepted. Accepted have more freedom than Novices and are free
to study in a specialized area of their own choice. However, the
Accepted work under and answer to Aes Sedai. To become Accepted a
Novice goes through the three arched ter'angreal. If she survivies
this, ahe gets to wear the Great Serpent ring, to live in the area of the
Tower set aside for Accepted and to wear the white dress with colored bands
at the hem to indicate her status.
