brother who wanted him dead, during torture sessions. Durring those
same sessions, the ring finger of each hand was cut off.
Born in Dri'Shara, one of the client states of the Sharan empire,he crossed the Aiel waste at fifeteen, fleeing his execution at the hands of a jealous brother. During his journy across the waste, he encountered a band of Far Dareis mai. After a brief struggle, he was overcome and taken captive. He found out later that the maidins had been sent by a dreamwalker.
He was taken to the dreamwalkers hold, and met the Wise One. She told him that she had a foretelling dream naming him as part of an Aiel prophecy. The prophecy was, in the Old Tounge:

Also during his ten years with the Aiel, he trained in the Aiel way of weaponless combat, excelling at it as aresult of his size, strength, and speed. he is the equal of ant Aiel with a spear and buckler. He will use a sword, but dislikes them intensely. His weapon of choice is a giant axe he recivedduring a vist to an Ogier Stedding.
The prophecy being as vauge as it was, needed the dreamwalker to explain its hidden meaning. He understands the prophecy, insomuch as a prophecy can be understood. Of those who know of it and ask, he says no more than that he must find the Aes Sedai of the prophecy, or he cannot face the betrayer.
Being from a land across the Aiel waste has him unsure of all the customs of this strange land, and added to his size and strange accent he is very self-conscious and shy.
His quest to find that certain Aes Sedai has now brought him to Tar Valon. Hopefully he will find her, and then.....?
