Tam Al'roth born and raised in manetheren, his only wish was to serve in the army. being mediocker with abow and barly satifatory with polarms tam became a sword fighter. he joined the army when he wasw 17 and under the training of alocal warder became a blade master after 6 years. Tam was starting to get noticed and was eventually in the running for a small comand of about 10 men. However another young man named Davin conagar was also in line for the job. Tam was one to think every thing out before act ing so he was known as a good stagagist. while davin's methode was more of a blitz fation. both were known for getting the job done. davin decided that he was going to get the coand no matter what. so davin took the subcomander's daughter's shift and put it in Tam's quarters. Then notified the subbcomander of the undergarments location. Tam tried explaining to the subcomander that he had no idea how the shift got there but he wouldn't listen to reason. the next day all of tam's poetions where burned and he was booted out of the army. All he had left was a few coppers in his pocket and his sword. Tam couldn't go to his parents for they had disowned him because they belived in the way of the leaf and would not have a soldier for a son. So Tam tried farming for alittle while. he enjoyed the work. being able to look at a flield he helped harvest was one of the best feelings he ever had. However he found that while his body loved the work his mind was bord. One day while in town he saw a group of young recrutes in a bar having mock fights with practise swords. they saw Tam staring at the and soon they started mocking the coward "farmer". Tam noticed that there was money on the table and said that he bet that hey could take that money in a fair fight with one of the lads. they laughed and quick ly one of the boys put down his sword and made a bowing stance. Tam was no good at hand to hand combat so he told the boy he ment a sword fight. This brought even more laughfter out of the boys. but thinking he was just asimple farmer the boy gave Tam a practice sword and then stood in a fighting stance. the fight was over in 3 minutes. Tam took the money and left quickly because he knew it wouldn't be long before the boys decided they wanted revenge. Throught the rest of the seaaon the fight kept coming back to tam. being able to use his brain again felt so good. Tam began to plan. At the end of harvest he used his savings and bought a horse. Then he baught som good ridding close. Tam had decided that he would hire out his servises to people for money. Tam ,now 27, felt ready to face the world.
