Description Background
Brie resembles nothing more than a jumbled bundle of small logs and branches, with a vaguely human shape. Her bright green eyes peer out from under her leafy "hair", and her long, rootlike toes dig into the ground reflexively with every step. Is the perfect hunter in a wooded environment, for her appearance renders her virtually invisible to the casual eye, and can easily evade prey that is actually searching for her. She needs no food or rest, thereby ensuring she can patiently stay on her target's trail, wearing it down before the kill. Brie was created by a tribe of Wood Elves during a particularly harsh winter. None of the Elven Hunters had the strength or stamina to brave the blizzard and find food, so in desperation they used the only element they could find to create a specialized hunting machine. When Brie was completed, she was given the simple order, "Go. Bring food." She was given a crossbow and a quiver of quarrels and sent on her way. She returned shortly to the Elves, who were huddled around the slowly dying fire, her game bag filled with small rodents and birds. As the Elves ravenously consumed the food, the Elder gave her a new order, "Bring bigger game." By the time Brie returned several hours later in the dead of the night bearing a pair of small deer, the entire tribe had frozen to death. Remembering her last order, Brie went off to collect bigger game, going after bigger and more dangerous targets each hunt. In time, she began to develop a love of the hunt, thrill of the stalk, and satisfaction of a good kill. She began testing herself against more and more dangerous and larger creatures, bringing them down one by one. To this day she wanders the earth, looking for new challenges. But once every year, she brings a bigger animal to the very clearing where she was created, obeying her final command.
