Description Background
When meeting the gaze of Naraa's stunning amber eyes, you can never quite decide if she is taking a liking to you…or if she is considering you for her next meal. Her long golden hair hangs in unkept locks, flowing almost to her waist. Her defined and graceful movements betray her feline nature. As leader of the Were-Nation, Naraa is even tempered and an able diplomat. Her soothing voice can calm all but the most enraged were-beast. However, all those who mistake her soft spoken nature with frailty quickly meet a violent end at the tip of her razor claws. Born into a life of politics, Naraa spent many of her childhood afternoons sneaking into the governmental buildings where her father debated law with other leaders. She quickly picked up his diplomatic skills and used them to her advantage to gain wealth, power and prestige. Relying on her quick wit and silver tongue to get her out of trouble, Naraa took great pleasure in baiting her enemies and embarking on dangerous missions by herself. On one such mission, she encountered a man who left her speechless. His noble, yet powerful nature enthralled her. She quickly accepted his invitation to return with him to his castle, ignoring the possibility for danger. When he revealed to her that he was a great were-lion, she was humbled to join him as his queen. The next few months spent in bliss by his side, quickly learning of her new were-lion nature and powers. One fateful night, a band of mercenaries, let by the renegade Maia Beledawen crept into their fortress and murdered her king and most of the castle's inhabitants solely because Beledawen considered him a threat to her power. Naraa barely escaped with her life but vowed to be ready should she ever be attacked again. Naraa sought out a fledgling band of werebeasts and joined their ranks. Her determination to organize the unfocused ragtag band of werebeasts into a mighty nation eventually earned her the right to lead it.
