Equipment
Once your character has all the necessary physical, mental and magical abilities necessary to survive in the world, it is time to start collecting some equipment to enhance your characters chances for continued survival. Normal equipment is broken down into two categories: Weapons and Items. The equipment on these lists are priced in silver pieces. Generally, player characters (PCs) start with 1d10 gold pieces (gp) and 1d100 silver pieces (sp). The Wealth Advantage can increase this starting number and also, the GM may allow certain items to be granted to a character to fit their occupation if it helps to round out the characters personality. Characters are generally assumed to have at least one set of clothes to start with.
As characters adventure through the realms, they may stumble upon magic items of great power. Although magic items are fairly common through the realms, usually there power level is low. The preceding list of magic items consists mostly of weapons right now. It is a fairly large list (208k)so it may take a moment to view. Items are given a Rating of either Normal, Magical, Rune or Artifact. Normal items are the same as any you would purchase at your local weapon store and are only included in this list because they belonged to someone famous or are ornately decorated. They hold no magical abilities. Magical weapons have little to average amounts of magical energies invested in them. Generally, these spell ratings are between 1 and 100. Rune weapons are much harder to come by and are very powerful. They have a magic rating anywhere from 150 to 300. The most powerful category is the Artifacts. These rare items are of immense power usually up to a rating of 600. Nearly all the Artifacts are already held by a being of great power.
