X-Men #79 (9/98) - An angry Marrow goes on a rampage in New York tormenting random pedestrians throughout the town. In flashback, it is shown that she is primarily angry at Callisto for siding with Storm in a recent fight, but also at Cannonball who is leaving the team to be with his ailing mother. Sam tracks her down and tries to talk some sense into her, but they are interrupted by Officers Aguinal and Cleveland whom Marrow had knocked unconscious during Operation: Zero Tolerance. When the officers tell her of how their lives have been on a downward spiral as a direct result of her attack months ago, she realizes that all of her actions have consequences. With Sam's support, she apologizes to the officers and he tells her that he is proud of her. When Storm and Callisto arrive, Callisto tells her that she should stay with the X-Men, for not everybody gets a second chance at life. Callisto says goodbye and Marrow tells her she loves her. Storm and Marrow then call a truce when Storm says she will stand by her from now on as a fellow X-Man and friend.
