First Appearance: Generation X #5
Mutant Powers: Superhuman strength, possible size-altering capabilities.
Current Status: After helping Marrow kidnap the White Queen and hijack a subway car, Hemingway was subdued by the X-Men and taken back to "The Hill" by Callisto. Once there, he changed his name to Pain. After Storm purged "The Hill" and sent the inhabitants to Africa, he disappeared only to reappear with the Dark Beast (using the name Hemingway once more) to attack the members of Generation X.
