X-Men #92 (9/99) - Gambit, fed up with the Professor, decides to run off and clear his head. Marrow tries to tag along, but he is adamant when he tells her to stay with the others. Disappointed that he left, Marrow goes to her room and tries to pull the horns into her head like the Professor taught her. She succeeds, but loses her concentration when Colossus knocks on her door. Concerned about her emotional state since her recent transformation, Piotr decides that she and Sarah should take a road trip to Boston. Kitty, Kurt, and Rogue also decide to leave, going into New York. Before they all depart, Professor X gets all snotty and pouty, telling them to stay gone. The team is thus apparently disbanded, Charles also having dismissed Wolverine. The only X-Men left at the end of the issue in the good graces of the Professor are Storm, Jean and Cyclops.
