The members of Clan Gangrel are a Clan in name only. There is very little cooperation or sense of unified purpose between individuals with Clan prestige being based on personal strength rather than anything so materialistic as wealth or influence.

Gangrel are found outside of cities as much as they are inside cites. Their ability to meld into the earth using the Protean discipline giving them a distinct edge in hiding from the days sunlight when there are no buildings around. The Bestial nature of Gangrel is reflected in their clan weakness. When they frenzy they gain a beast feature, tufted ears, paws instead of feet etc. A Gangrel that doesn't learn to control his temper soon devolves into something far less than human. Elder Gangrel are often judged by how many beast features they have, too many means they are unstable and not to be trusted but too few means that they are probably cowards and run away rather than fighting.
