Overview

The Spitting Spider is a new quad mech designed to take the place of the venerable Harbringer for those Clan units who want a technology edge when it comes to combatting their opponents. It carries many examples of cutting edge Clan technology, including a XXL Engine, Compact Gyros, Supercharger, and Laser Heat Sinks. To go along with this advanced equipment, the Spitting Spider also mounts some of best Clan weaponry, including Streak LRMs and Heavy Lasers. For those closer range encounters, the Spider also mounts a pair of SRM racks. Hunched down behind an embankment, or crawling across a battlefield, the Spitting Spider is a sight to behold.
