Step 5) So you have uncured clay on the inside and on the edges. This is when you put a piece of paper between them and give the two sides a bit of a mashing together. Not so much as you spoooge your clay completely out, but enough to match the edges for a nice fit. Smooth the sides of each side of the separation at the paper, you'll be glad you did.
