| Step 8) Here I have uncured clay on the top as well as the bottom of the hinge. Now I found that even with clay on the inside and outside of my egg shell the hinge, which was the smallest I could find was still too wide. So I built up beneath the hinge over hang on the inside of the egg. I figured I could decorate around it and having the over hang on the outside didn't provide me with a lot of options to hide it.
