About the Author of "My Garden: Verbena"

Julia Nolan was born in 1980 in Riverside, California, and currently resides in Benicia, California in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attends Diablo Valley College in Pleasent Hill, and intends to major in "one of the sciences" someday.

Julia's interests include reading, writing , gardening, making completely useless web-pages , and learning completely useless facts about things such as the Hellenic Underworld and Arthurian Legends . Her interests in gardening and mythology are combined in the "In My Garden" collection which relates plants to mythology and the human psyche. Included are "Mint", "Mugwort", "Verbena", "Snowy Trees", "The Battle", "Night", "Petals", and "Leaves".

Julia's writing has been published in Nocturne, The Oak, The Color Wheel, and Creative Indigestion.
