Meet Everyone Else...

"As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of existance is to light a candle of meaning in the darkness of mere being."
~C.G. Jung

The Commoner Kithain and the Prodigals

On Boggans: These simple commoners will almost always support you. They are hospitable little things, and as long as you don't ask too much about their crafts, will remain respectful to you. Be careful not to abuse them, and as they love gossip, becareful you don't say something you don't want repeated around them.

On Eshu: They consider themselves to be the princes of the road. Don't challenge that. We need their wisdom and familiariy with the dreaming if we are ever to find Arcadia again. Listen carefully to their tales.

On Nockers: To be around them for a long period of time and not show complete revulsion at their foul language takes some skill, but it's worth not upsetting them. Their crafts are highly prized, and to keep them around and content is a good idea.

On Pooka: They are wonderfully amusing, and if you ever are caught by one of their pranks, laugh it off! Be wary, however, because although their cantrips are bound to fail, they will emply ordinary tricks on us, which nothing can make us naturally avoid. But if the case calls for it, they should be punished. An ironic twist is a punishment that is derived from the original prank.

On Redcaps: IF you can find a loyal Seelie one, emply him or her into your knights, and hope they won't change legacies, for their ability to eat anything is useful, as is their intimidation factor. However, they should be avoided for their rude manners and foul tounges. Be vigilant should a group of them enter your domain.

On Satyrs: Their Pan's Gift makes for a wonderful court musician, but their passions often override their common sense. If you are looking for a one night stand type of thing, go here, for there's no better kith. Just becareful that you don't get too involved...

On Sluagh: Their whispered secrets are usually worth the price. Just be careful these secrets aren't about you. They make good advisors if you can find one willing to come out, but it's best to let them come to you- and trust me, they will know when you need their help. They don't like intrusions on their privacy.

On Trolls: How wonderful to have such noble Kithain behind us! Their loyalty is the greatest gift to us and you may call upon them when ever you are in need. Just give them the respect they deserve, and don't expect them to violate their code of honor for you.

On the Garou: They are wild and ferocious, but they are fighting against the same force as we, although they call it the Wyrm and the Apcolypse. Most don't believe in us anymore, except the Fianna, who are still loyal friends of the Kithain. Perhaps some of the ancient pacts that we forged with the other breeds should be renewed for our mutual protection. However- BEWARE THE GET OF FENRIS! The hold a grudge against us for an act of cruelty committed by the Sidhe in the mythic age and will kill us on sight.

On other Changing Breeds I must confess that I know little of the others. We have contacts within the Celican Bastet, the faerie werecats, but these are few as the race has supposedly died out. Most other breeds have only heard rumors of our exsistance, and are too entrapped in their own banality to accept us.

On Wizards: When the Fae and Wizards encounter each other, one of two things will happen: a party or a fight. Many ancient traditions are held betweent the Tradition Mages, especially the Verbena and Dreamspeakers, for we are allies in that force which drains this world of magic- to us represented in the Dauntain and for them in the Technocracy.

On the Lost Ones: Some tales have it that these are the few True Fae left on Earth. These are the lost Sidhe who lived in the Mundane World through the Twilight Times and they are too powerful to be dealt with. Aviod. Aviod. Aviod. They will trap you and drain your Glamour and bring about your Undoing.

On Humans: It is the most common known fact that we need their Glamour if we are to survive the coming Winter. Although they no longer believe in us, don't treat them with contempt, and if you are going to use their Glamour, inspire them in a kind way, so they will continue to produce it. if a change can be brought about in them soon the lowers their banality the forthcoming Winter will not be so harsh.

On Vampires: They have a political system to match ours in comlpexity and subtility. We don't come into contact with them much, but we do know that the fear of them inspires a dark Glamour in mortals. We needn't usually fear their hunger, though, for our blood causes an addiction most vampires are wiser than to play with except for the occasional Malkavian.
