Nullify Gravity (Abjuration)

Area of Effect: 60' diameter sphere
Casting Time: 1 turn
Saving Throw: None
Duration: 1 round
Components: V, S, M
Discovered by: Chasmyr

a bloody created by accident by the arch-mage Maerk'lin, this spell will cancel out the affects of gravity within it's area of affect. Maerk'lin was attempting to discover a way to manipulate Reverse Gravity(from Players Handbook), when he stumbled across this spell. As magical accidents go, this one was a pretty good one. The affect is simple, the gravity in the sphere is canceled out, but inertia may remain, if the object in question had any. It will cancel falling damage for it's area of effect(if falling person fell any distance before or after leaving the sphere). This spell will only function within an enclosed area if Recast, Semi-Permanence from Dragon Kings), Permanence(from Players Handbook).
The component for this spell is a feather from any magical creature(ie: non-animal, consumed), and a perfect sphere of lodestone(not consumed) about an inch in diameter.

Thoughtstrike (Alteration, Psionics)
Range: 30'/level
Components:	V, S, M
Duration:	Instantaneous
Casting Time:	1
Area of Effect:	Special
Saving Throw:	None
Source: Unearthed Arcania Netbook

a bloody this spell negates the effect of a psionic power used in either the previous round or the round the thoughtstrike is cast. The caster of the thoughtstrike does not need to know the type of psionic power used the previous round, only some part of its effect. The thoughtstrike can only be used against one particular power per casting.
Thoughtstrike does not cause a psionic power to be reflected, volleyed, trapped, or sent elsewhere. The power merely ceases to exist, retroactively, though any PSPs spent for it are still gone.
All the effects of the negated power are retroactively negated as well. Thus, if a death field had been used and killed the humble carpenter Corble and was later negated by a thoughtstrike, Corble would be alive, having never died. He would not loose a point of Constitution, nor would he need to make a system shock roll.
The material component for this spell is the blood of a psionic creature taken just after one of its psionic powers failed. It is consumed in the casting.
