England!

In the summer of 1998, part of my college scholarship included a trip to England, to study at Christchurch, in Oxford, for three weeks. I had a great time, took tons of photos, and the class was right up my alley!

Myths and Legends of the British Isles!

It was a blast. Celtic Myths, the history of the island, King Arthur, a trip to Glastonbury. It was just wonderful! I wish I could do it again (and again, and again!).

Some history of Oxford (provided from my old, defunct, page).
Oxford is filled with old buildings and stories, as well as history. During the English Civil War, it became the Royalist base. During World War II, England had a treaty with Germany, neither side would bomb the most beautiful cities. Oxford was on that list. (It was said that Hitler wanted to move to Oxford, after he ruled the world.) Oxford has one of the largest libraries in the world, the Bodlien.
