This way to Goldberg Variation filming.

The Shamrock Bakery truck.  It runs someone down right in front of a hospital.  The lettering and pictures are stickers.  When I first saw it, it only said "hamrock."  Later a crew member showed up with the "S" sticker and applied it like a temporary tatoo.

A great shot of filming.  You can see the actors, the camera, the dolly, and a few crew members.

The monitors, more equipment, and crew.

A long shot of the hospital.

Another great shot of filming.  You can see the actors better plus all the equipment is visible too.  The mobster-looking dude hands off the flowers he's holding and goes to check out the guy who gets hit by the bakery truck.  That guy is visible to the right of the picture.  He's the balding guy in the brown jacket.

The camera with a telephoto lens is ready to shoot bald guy's POV as the truck approaches.  Bald guy is standing on the curb to the right ready to enter the street and get hit.

A crew member stood in the street and let the bakery truck practice approaching and stopping just before actually hitting the actor.  Here the crew sets up for the shot.

The Director of Photography checks the lighting as the crew sets up to get the bakery truck's POV as he approaches the man.  (I really need to figure out what his character's name is.)  This picture shows the dolly tracks and the tape that marks exactly where to stand.

A news lady shoots a broadcast in front of this building.  Scully and Mulder show up and go inside to investigate.  (This was a fun night to watch filming.  We got to see Gillian play with her daughter and it was absolutely adorable.)

A little market where a punk wins the lottery.  He had black spiky hair, black nail polish and dark clothing.  Something dastardly must happen later because Scully and Mulder show up and ask the grocer some questions.  Gillian stood on a little box to appear taller when talking to the grocer and Mulder.  The Shamrock bakery truck also shows up here.

This episode takes place in Illinois which was apparent because the crew kept changing all the cars license plates.  We thought the crew also changed the "Chicago Market" sign.  It wasn't until later we realized we were on Chicago street and the sign hadn't been changed at all.  The cops in front of the store aren't in the episode, they're just security.

The director waits around while the crew sets up for a complicated stunt shot.  (They were filming at night so the rest of the pictures are a little dark.  Unfortunately, some good pictures didn't even turn out.)

The crew watches as the stunt is prepared.  A dummy of the bald guy is dropped from a balcony and lands on the airbag.  On the first drop, the dummy hit a ledge and pieces of the head flew across the street.  The second drop worked perfectly.

After the stunt.  The crew isn't doing much but you can see the "Water Grill" restaurant behind them where Scully and Mulder investigate later.

The Grayson Linen Service truck.  It's in front of an elevator that comes up out of the ground.  The guy who is thrown off the balcony lands in the open elevator.

This is a picture of me on the set of Goldberg Variation sitting in Gillian's chair.
