Ht: 5'11"
Wt: 165 lbs.

Race: Vampire form of human
Known relations: None still living
Costume: Wears dark suits with Eduardian cuffs and a long flapped cloak when in Goth style or Masques. But tends to dress trendy in loose bluejeans and long button up shirts when he's trying to blend in with the other college students. Likes high topped sport cross trainers, and black hobnail boots as footwear.
Origin: France of the 1400s... during the Inquisition. He has lived in many parts of Europe including England, Italy, and parts of Romania. He has established contacts with most hidden communities of vampires, and is quite well known among them, even though he is young. An ancient One, from Egypt made him a vampire. A Khabit. This ancient Egyptian vampire is still as have yet unnamed. Levarr was in France, the son of wealthy cloth merchant with ties to the many countries in the Holy Land, obtaining silk and other fine garments. Young Levarr was to inherit his father's business, being the eldest son. But one day his father fell in with special orders for a special sort of clothes one could only obtain from the Middle East. The deals made him fall in with a society of the nights Templar, whose strange rituals were the stuff of legend. Slowly he was drawn into their power. Levarr learned much about the nights Templar from one of his father's business partners. He actually sneaked into one of their meetings. But was discovered during a ritual sacrifice. He was captured, and was going to be killed. But one of the members, an Egyptian who had made his own fortune. He convinced them to release Levarr into his charge. There Levarr became his assistant, and then his "blood supplier" in exchange for his life. The Knights Templar then promised their protection due to the influence of this Egyptian, who was in reality a 3000 yr. old vampire.
Eventually Levarr's father passed away due to one of the many illnesses that claimed Europe. He inherited the business and his father's contacts. But he wanted to know more and more about the secret rituals of the Knights Templar. And so he financed many of their secret ventures. Eventually he came to know of the various Inquisitions and hid many members of the Knights Templar in his house from the Inquisition when it reached France. But in one raid he was almost killed. The Egyptian vampire took him to safety, and drained him of his last blood. Then, using the blood of captured Inquisitionists, he made a new vampire.
Levarr as the Vampire was born. Armed with anger, he sought to find the inquisitionists responsible for the raid. And exacted his revenge.
When the Renaissance came to France, Levarr readily accepted and financed many artists and new scientists. His cloth merchant business soon had to take to other avenues as he learned that he could only be active at night. But the secret Knights Templar society still flourished in his chateau in the Pyrhanese Mountains. They held their meetings there in secret. Eventually Levarr's order became a refuge for vampires as he learned of their existence from his "master." Gathering his funds he traveled to Romania to learn and meet with other vampires.
Now in San Francisco in the 20th century, Levarr has learned how to live for brief periods in the day. His knowledge of Knight's Templar magic has given him special powers to put off the injurious effects of the sun for limited time. He lives with a modern wealthy family, who "adopted" him when he claimed to be an exchange student. Eventually he won them over, and so influenced them to make them think he is their son. He uses their contacts to continue to promote his vampire society. He uses his family influence to get them to open homeless shelters and other charities. These street people become the food for his vampire society. Levarr says he takes the blood of the nameless, claiming it is his duty to relieve them of the burden of their unhappy lives. There is a quiet nobility about him, although he will do whatever it takes to protect his vampire friends from harm. And there is safety in numbers.
Recently Levarr sensed the presence of the Mummies in San Francisco. He felt this was a unique situation, for the Mummies are undead as he is. But unlike Vampires, Mummies do not require blood. But they are limited in many ways. Levarr learned of Mennehotep's existence, and often had her followed to learn more about her. One night he saw her in her true form, and was besotted with her. He felt he had found his match. But the Mummies soon rescued her, convincing her of her true role. But Menne still feels an attraction to Levarr, for he represents freedom she can never have for her duty comes first.

When Nyx came on the scene, Levarr was searching out Mennehotep. From a distance he felt her pain and desires to be accepted. His ancient heart bled for a mortal for the first time in centuries. And ancient teenage desires were reawakened. As he longed for Menne, he also longed for this child. To somehow ease her pain and offer her the power she so truly wanted. But he is biding his time on how to approach them both. For he is aware of his own responsibility to those vampires under his leadership. But he often visits the catholic school Nyx attends, under guise as a college student at the Local University of San Francisco. Levarr has many guises, and can cleverly use them all. He knows who she is, and learns of all her secret desires and hopes through his magical abilities.
Abilities: Levarr has all the enhanced senses of smell and sight a vampire would posses. His reflexes and strength are far greater than the most fit athletes. His dark gifts allow him to empathize and "see" people's most hidden desires. He is also very charismatic, and is a natural born leader. His grasp of Knights Templar magic gives him resistance to most things that would harm an average vampire: garlic, crosses, and holy water. But the effect of fire is still very hazardous and lethal. Poisioned blood as well. He is resistant to Egyptian Hecka, being somewhat of a historian on it since his vampire sire was Egyptian. Also he is well-versed in vampire lore and history, knowing many of the tricks the hunters will use.
He does not drink the blood of animals unless he has no choice. He has invented a special blood punch, a cocktail of human bloods mixed with spices and alcohol, which is very popular among other vampires in his society. Blood lovers can also ingest the potion, which is pungent. It enables those neo vampires to live in his protection without having to risk their safety to "hunt." But some of his friends claim he takes the fun out of being a vampire. He often will organize nightly "hunts" and virgin parties to allay these suspicions.
Weaknesses: He will not kill another vampire, obeying many of the laws he has set up. Even though he can go for brief periods in sunlight, direct sun will burn and harm him. He must still take to a coffin to sleep in at least once a week. And must have human blood to retain full strength. He has a weakness for tasting virgin blood. But if he encounters a young woman whose powers and experience strike his senses, he will spare her to make the hunt sweeter.
Relationship with Mummies Alive characters0:
Mennehotep: Is highly attracted to this ancient Mummy. One time he almost succeeded in making her a full khaibit. One may ask how he could make a mummy into a vampire. But his Knight's Templar magic can attest to that, combined with the life infusing properties of his blood punch. Menne still retains her vampiric tendencies, although they are deeply buried. But when next they meet, she might have great difficulty in resisting him again.
JaKal: Levarr respects his prowess as a warrior, but is enraged at him for harming many of the Vampires under his protection. Currently Levarr is plotting his revenge on the Guardians of Rapses
Rath: Has high respect for Rath's sorcery and knowledge. But he is resentful of Rath for aiding in the rescue of Mennehotep, whom he planned to make his Vampiric Consort.
Nefertina: Respects her spirit, and knows his disciple Louis wishes secretly to have Nefertina for his own.
Armon: Has little respect for this Mummy and would not hesitate to destroy him.
Nyx: Is highly attracted to Nyx, for he feels her intense pain when first they meet. She represents the youth he lost when he became a Vampire. And the innocence that is marred by abuse screams out to him. Even though he kills to survive, he feels this pain pierce him. And nothing is as satisfying to hunt as a girl who can be your equal. He wishes to make her a Vampire to serve him... but realizes that must be her choice, and her decision. Somehow he feels perhaps it might kill her to have her serve him. For she must invite him freely of her own will.
Marianne: Fears the scientist, for she is a biochemist, and capable of separating DNA. If he was to come under her attention, he fears she would learn far too much about his kind and lead to their destruction.
Sohkarra: Greatly respects and fears her. For she knows dark magic, ancient Egyptian heka that could well destroy him and his secret community. Also when Sohkarra learns of what he did to JaKal she swears revenge upon him and his kind. And he does not take her mental powers lightly. Of all the mummies she is the one he fears the most.
The Forgotten Warriors:
Cannot stand the fact a whole community of Mummies exists that could threaten the safety of his own Vampiric community. He is very wary of them, and takes great pains to protect himself and his community from them. His special knowledge of Egyptian lore enables him to magically mask them from most efforts of Rath to find them. And even Kalia and the other mages. Only Rathera knows of his existence, and leaves him well enough alone.
Levarr is the property of me, Trynia Merin. He resembles characters created by Anne Rice, but is no way meant to harm her works of horror. He is written out of respect for her novels and all those pertaining to Vampires, which I enjoy greatly. If you wish to use him in a fanfic, please ask my permission first!
