So Whose Footprints are They?

In 1931 in Alkali Flats, an area of Great White Sands, New Mexico. A goverment trapper found giant humanoid tracks. A year later the trapper Ellis Wright, O. Fred Authur, supervisor of Lincoln National Forest, with two others set out to study the tracks. In the eastern foothills of the San Andres mountains. They found 13 imprints.

The prints were 16 to 22 inches long and 8 to 12 inches wide. The gait of these creatures was 5 feet, with a seperation in width of 2 feet. Still all present believed them to be human,"for the print was perfect and even the instep plainly marked."

The site was revisted three more times in 1972, 1974 and 1981. Each time more tracks were found. When first documented the prints were 2 1/2 inches deep in the ground. 42 years later in 1974 the prints were 1 to 1 1/2 inches above the ground! The weight of the humanoids had so compacted the ground that soil around the prints had erroded away. In 1981 the tracks stood several inches above the ground.

The prints were without a doubt made by a living humanoid creature. Many have suggested the imprints were made by camels or mamoths. The spacing of the footprints, however, suggest the creature was two legged.
