I am referring of course to the D&M Pyramid located about 20km south-southwest of the "Face". This structure is a five-sided pyramid larger than any in the "City." The south face of the pyramid appears to face due south.

The D&M Pyramid is named after DiPietro and Molenaar founders of Mars Research because they discovered it. The D&M Pyramid is approximately 500m high and nearly 3km long.

DiPietro and Molenaar discovered the structure on frame 70A13 after they became interested in the frame labeled "Head."

Erol Torun, a geomorphologist and cartographer with the US Defense Mapping Agency in DC, began work on the D&M Pyramid in 1988. He concluded the internal angles and symmetry were unlikely to occur in a natural mountain. Torun stated that no known erosional process could produce such a regular formation.

I am going to have to classify this along with our own egyptian pyramids as a Fascinating Mystery.
