Mundane Coincidence?

ne day, Ian's father who is in the building trade, decided to take a day off work as a friend had asked him to do a job on the inside of his house. Ian's father phoned his boss to explain that he would not be able to come in that day due to illness (a deceit he had never before engaged in, being at core a very honest man).
Ian's father made his way to his friend's house and began working. Mid way through the morning the phone rang and the man of the house answered. The voice on the other end of the line asked to speak with Ian's father and, assuming that he had let his whereabouts be known, the man of the house called out to Ian's father that there was a call for him. This puzzled him because only Ian's father and his friend knew where he was.
"Hello Peter," said the voice on the line. "Sorry to bother you while you're ill."
Peter was baffled and flustered to hear the voice of his boss on the line, phoning to see if he would be able to work out of town the following week.
Peter asked his boss,"how did you know to phone me here?"
The boss was flustered now. "What are you on about, you said you'd be at home sick."
Peter still confused confessed that he was actually at a friend's house.
It turns out that Peter's boss, in dialing Peter's home number had actually dialed the number incorrectly. The incorrect number took him, by coincidence, to the house Peter was working at.
