Alias: Goblyn Queen, Black Rook of the Hellfire Club.

Powers: Telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation, and a bod that just won't quit ;)

Friends: Nate Grey placed his mis-guided trust in her, and her son Cable still holds some soft spot for her. Scott Summers, her ex-husband, truely loved her, but that relationship is pretty much kaputz.

Enemies: Jean Grey, Cyclops, Mr.Sinister, Threnody and pretty much all the X-Men.

Created by: Chris Claremont (who intended her not to be a clone of Jean Grey; the whole evil Maddy as the Goblyn Queen thing was thought up later, after he'd left the book.)

Created by: (in comics) Mr.Sinister. She was his first successful clone, created solely to seduce Cyclops and create a child with his genetic material. Sinister even placed a subliminal suggestion in her mind to name her child Nathan, after Sinister himself (whose real name was Nathaneil Essex). Madelyne and Essex have a very creepy father/child relationship, even to this day.

Favorite storyline: Inferno, where-upon Maddy shows just how truely bad she can be by making a deal with a demon, doning a scandolus outfit, embarking on a kinky affair with her brother in law, and trying to sacrifice her own son to make (literally) hell on Earth.

Worst storyline: The climax of Inferno, when Maddy and Jean just yammer at each other. Oh, and I was none too pleased with this whole strange relationship she has (had?) with Nate Grey. He's her genetic son for Christ's Sake! Eeeewww!

Where can she be seen?: Formerly a regular in X-Man; shows up from time to time in Cable and the main titles.
