Powers: Magic, teleportation, spell casting. And those six arms come in handy too...

Friends: As Rita, she was involved with Longshot. She periodically tries to kill him now....

Enemies: Dazzler, Longshot, the X-Men, and X-Force. And she despises her boss Mojo, who was the one who transformed her into Spiral.

Worst storyline: That whole 'origin of Shatterstar' mess. An attempt to give a perfectly good character an origin that made no sense then and makes no sense now. Spiral, unfortunetly, played a big part in this X-Force storyline.

Favorite storyline: I rather enjoyed her Freedom Force stint; she joined the goverment sponsored team of criminals with her own agenda and motives, and was easily the most powerful of the team.

Is Spiral an alien or what?: Not exactly. She used to be a fairly normal stuntwoman from Earth, who accidently fell through a dimensional portal. She was found by Mojo, ruler of (duh!) Mojoworld, where television is the end-all, be-all of existence. Deciding she'd be more intersting with six arms, magic, and complete paranoid psychosis, Mojo had her physically altered and her memory wiped.

First appearance: Longshot #3.

Affiliation: Mojo's servant. Formerly in Freedom Force.

Where can she be seen?: Very rarely in the X-Titles.
