Grant Greer Nelson - Tigra

|||||||||||||||||
Name: Grant Greer Nelson Alias: Tigra. Formerly the Cat. Powers: Enhanced strength, relexes, and claws. Originally human, with her costume providing limited powers. First appearance: The Cat #1. Affiliation: An Avenger. Also hung out with the FF. Friends: Hawkeye, Falcon, the Avengers, and especially Starfox. Enemies: Kraven the Hunter, and whoever the Avengers were fighting that week. Oh, and in the Last Avengers Story, she got ripped in half by the Hulk like a wishbone (fortunetly, that was a What If? kinda deal) Oh, and she and Hellcat had a rivalry going on for a time, when Greer believed Patsy was nothing more than a knock-off of her. Fact: Tigra is the only female Avenger to ever come on to Jarvis. |
|||||||||||||||||
Least favorite storyline: Tigra becomes some sort of mindless beast, and wanders around the WCA headquarters for a awhile. What was up with that, anyway? Favorite storyline: Her early adventures as the Cat were fun. She also participated in one of my all time favorite rivalries with Hellcat. And she and Starfox made a nice couple. Favorite quote: Tigra: "Oh! Are you a cat-lover, Jarv?" Jarvis: "I'm allergic to felines, Madame." -- Avengers #212. Tigra cuddles up to Jarvis and tickles his leg with her foot. The girl gets around. |

Tigra Links: Whatever you do, don't forget to visit Marvel Chillers: The Tigra homepage, Greer's very impressive 'Net debut. And while you're at it, stop by The Tigra picture page for fanart and fanfic on the puuurfect feline. Caution: the picture page contains some erotic content, clearly mearked and set aside.
Where can she be seen?: Occasional guest shots in Avengers, appearing currently in Avengers: Infinity. Was part of WCA, had her own title, Marvel Chillers as the Cat. I suggest you pick it up -- it's quite good. |
