Omega Sub-groups

In Omega Squadron, there are several smaller groups which are truly devoted to Omega. These people spend their extra time working on several projects and things to make Omega Squadron nicer. This page is written to thank all these people, and to let everyone else know what they do to help!

Research and Development

This sub-group of Omega Squadron is the Research and Development division. These people learn about the way TIE Fighter works, and how to manipulate it. They are currently working on the Omega's TIE Evader.

Michael "Insolent" Moss Omega 27 Insolent has been working in Starfighter R&D. He has made the Guardian Starfighter.
Jason "Invader" Whitman Omega 36 Invader made the files for the TIE Evader, and is now working on a modified Missile Boat.

Internet Officers

This sub-group of Omega helps do the Internet activities. This includes making this terrific set of pages, and some recruiting jobs as well.

Dave "Avatar" Frankson Omega 28 Avatar was our original Chief Internet Officer, and thanks to him, we had been given the chance to get our original site working! He has also spent a lot of time making this page look great!
Lance J. "Hawkeye" Pierce Omega 18 Hawkeye is currently working on a member story section for this page.
Robert "Polaris" Greenough Omega 31 Polaris has built the Flying Predators Homepage!
Russell "Super Nova" Gayle Omega 35 Super Nova has built the Fist of the Empire Homepage, and has built the competition page, and this page. He is currently working on other pages for Omega.
Jon C. "Jazz" VanBragt Omega 58 Jazz helped create the custom mission page

Recruitment

This little branch of Internet Officers looks over the numerous pilots we receive that are from the Internet.

Sean "Waverider" Hardiman Omega 24 Waverider is the main Internet recruiting officer, and I believe is working, as always, on looking at pilot after pilot and seeing what they can get to. He has been invaluable with checking the pilots.
Daniel "Tzadkiel" Steinberg Omega 43 Tzadkiel is the Assistant recruiting officer. He handles the overflow pilots from Waverider.

Mission Builders

This sub-group of Omega makes all the extra missions which we use for various activities. They use programs like TMB (TIE Mission Builder) to construct these missions.

George J. "Teleoceras" Gerhold Omega Leader Teleo. is the crazy guy that made the Kobayashi missions.
Robert "Polaris" Greenough Omega 31 Polaris has made some missions for Omega Squadron.
Vojta "Slayer" Camek Omega 60 Slayer is currently making a Tour of Duty for the Coyotes!

Lightning/Omega Competition Staff

The Lightning/Omega Competition went on a few years ago. There were several members of Omega who helped make this competition going by being mission judges and actually building the missions for it! More info about the Competition can be found here.

George J. "Teleoceras" Gerhold Omega Leader Teleoceras is the final editor for the Lightning/Omega Tie Competition missions. He also receives and checks pilots.
Michael "Insolent" Moss Omega 27 Insolent is a judge for the competition.
Dave "Avatar" Frankson Omega 28 Avatar is a judge for the competition.
Robert "Polaris" Greenough Omega 31 Polaris has made a mission for the competition.
Jason "Invader" Whitman Omega 36 Invader building most of the missions for use of the competition.
Jon "Venom" Bayers Omega 45 Venom has been a judge for the competition and has contributed a mission.
We would also like to congratulate the current Top 10 pilots in the competition! Thanks Hawk, Red Falcon, Dr. Doom, Slayer, Super Nova, D'artagnan, Shooter, Spider, Blitz, and Griffin!! Great work!

Graphic Designers

Most of the wonderful graphics you are seeing when you view this page were composed by this sub-group of Omega. And a special thanks to Zeppelin for making the wonderful Omega .AVI which can be found on this page!

Thorsten "Zeppelin" Wind Omega 34 Zeppelin has done most of the logos of the Strikewings, and has also made the Omega .AVI file!
David "Avatar" Frankson Omega 28 Avatar modeled and rendered the T/E using 3D Studio. His pictures appear in the T/E section.
Russell "Black Rain" Taylor Omega 100 Black Rain has done the Wabbits logo.

Authors

One of the best part of Omega is having members in this sub-group publish material to keep us entertained! One of their current projects is the oncoming Omega POV (Point of View)!

Alex "Red Falcon" Calhoun Omega Executive Officer Red Falcon has done some writing for Omega Squadron.
Jacob "Javelin" Holowach Omega 6 Javelin has written many stories including On The Traitors Turf, and is working on his resurrection story
Michael "Insolent" Moss Omega 27 Insolent has written a pilot origin story for Omega.
Daniel "Griffin" Steinberg Omega 43 Griffin has been helping out with the Omega POV.
Owen P. "Grave" Stone Omega 57 Grave has been helping with the POV as well.
Vojta "Slayer" Camek Omega 60 Slayer has written a pilot origin story for Omega.
