< You see a young women with long dark hair and deep purple eyes. She is standing somewhere in second, not far from the library. There is an LS patrol in the background and a little crowd. The time stamp shows 'Sun Jul 7 19:54:34 2056' >
"Violence. A word heard often these days, but a few realize the full extent of he problem. What you are about to see had happened right here, downtown. It happened in full day light, and in a crowded area. Let me take you back to the same place, just a couple of hours ago."
< The time stamps changes to Sun Jul 7 17:42:31 2056'. The place is the same place, only there's a little more light. The camera is currently focused on a man, talking about his opinion on the new economic plan, when suddently two loud bangs, like gun shots, are heard in the background. The camera immediatly leaves the man, and the picture jumps as the camera's carrier is running toward the source of the sound. Some kind of an alarm starts to ring.
After a while the camera reaches the source of the two shots: A small group of human punks running after a young ork. He is holding a heart shaped chocolate box, a book, and a rose. Some of the humans are holding pistols and knives. While running the ork drops the rose, which is immediately crushed under the feet of his pursures, and pushes the book and the chocolates into the hand of a bystander. He also throws another item, into the hands of an homeless woman who has a stroller and a small child nearby. The camera holder follows the scene running and so the picture is jumpy.
Suddenly the ork pulls out a small gun and shoots back at his pursuers. Apparently aiming low. One of the punks falls down, holding his knee and starts cursing.
A little while later, another hoodlum jumps the ork, forcing him to drop his gun. The ork stumbles, and pulls out a small blade. He then cuts the hamstring of the jumper, although it seems like he had could have made clean sweep to his throat.
The two chasing him catch up, swinging knives. The ork catches the wrist of one, twists it (CRUNCH), then pushes the incapacitated human off. The final human jumps on him, swinging his knife.
The ork struggles with the human, and gets several cuts. Finally, the ork frees himself, and tries to stand up. As he staggers to his feet, he is shot in the back by the cut-hamstring guy.
The ork is now seriously hurt, and all the punks jump him again.
The camera shift to the right to show Lone Star pulling up. They Watch for a few seconds and seem hesitant to intervene. They then casually walk over to the flailing heap of people, and pull everyone out of the pile.
An ambulance shows up, treating the injured humans first, then taking the badly wounded ork into the Ambulance. The paramedics seem overly casual too, especially since the ork is wounded badly.
As the ambulance moves away, a voice speaks in the background saying "The ork you have just seen died 30 minutes later of his wounds." The camera then scans the street and focuses on the crushed, dirty, red rose that is lying on the sidewalk.>
< The screen fades away and now shows the same place a few minutes later. The camera is currently focused on a woman, about 40, who is talking excitingly. >
"I saw it all, I tell 'ya. He was all nice and clean. I was just telling Ron here, 'If this ain't someone going to his sweetheart, I don't know what love is'. So anyways he was minding his own buisness when suddenly a couple of these punks started swearing at him and throwing stones at him. By god he was trying to be friendly to 'em. But they just threw more stuff at him, and then took out their guns."
&ltAt this point one of the punks enters the view of the camera by pushing the lady aside, and starts shouting, waving his fist. > "That trog had it coming. Who does he think he is, walking around downtown playing human, with those ugly things going out of his ugly mouth. And you are not better then him, you fuckin' *beep*ing trog-loving media."
&ltThe screen now shows another woman, wearing rags. The same homeless woman that the ork threw something at.>
"He was running like all hell was after him. Actually maybe it was. As he passed me and my child he suddenly throw this thing at me. At first I thought it was a rock, but it was a wallet. Full of money it was. I gave it straight to the LS, of course. Didn't think of keeping it to myself for one minute, even though god knows I could use it."
&ltThe screen now shows a picture of a young girl. She is walking back and forth, her head between her hands. She suddenly burst out and starts shouting to no one in particuar> "He never could have hurt anyone, you hear me? anyone! He is a good person. A good person! I wish you were all like him" &ltShe then collapses on the ground and start crying.
The screen fades and now shows the picture of Lone Star officer making a short statement in a monotonic voice.> "We where taking control of the situation as we saw best." &ltThe officer then turns away from the camera.
The reporter is seen on the screen again.>
"Sights like that one are getting more common every day. If nothing is done we may all end like this." &ltShe gently lifts the crushed rose of the ground, and holds it in front of the camera.> "This is Linda Jey, signing off"
