EXPEDITE REQUEST

SPECIAL / GENERAL
PLAY AT ANY TIME DURING YOUR TURN. Search through your draw pile, put one card into your hand, then shuffle your draw pile.

USES:

It sometimes seems that no matter how small you playing deck is, the best cards always wind up at the bottm somehow. No matter how much you shuffle, re-shuffle, and cut, that one card you need to make your entire deck click is at the very bottom. Frustrating, isn't it? EXPEDITE REQUEST beats that problem by letting you pick any one card out of your deck to put in your hand. I find it more useful than the rare DIVINE INSPIRATION because it doesn't force you to spend 3 of your valuable actions. Besides, if the card you need isn't in your deck and you need a DIVINE INSPIRATION to take one from your collection, perhaps you should rethink your deck.

COUNTER MEASURES:

MISCOMMUNICATION and OH YEAH?! are the best I can thik of. Alternatively, if you have the resources, hit him with a few GREATER DIVINATIONS to clear out all his best cards before he gets a chance to pull 'em.

COMBOS:

GIFT OF FATE to reuse it and MISCOMMUNICATION to counter any counters you may encounter (i.e. another MISCOMMUNICATION).
