"Sun," by Rachel Storey My sun is gone Burned out and collapsed In white-hot supernova A departure much like its arrival Scorching, blinding, completely unexpected I remember the day it appeared Brightened my sky So beautiful, I was transfixed y world - so cold, so gray, so dull Sprang to life at its warmth and I forgot never to look at the sun I remember the night it fell from my sky A blaze of glory Beautiful to the end But suddenly daytime was dim and unspeakable sorrow seized my night. Though other suns have risen and fallen somehow they're not as bright The black hole of my fallen sun draws me still toward what I can no longer have And I've burned my eyes, my body, my soul I walked to close to the sun This site is updated each time the Warren receives a new submisson. Calm down, that's not very often. The last update was November 14.
