The Warren

Verses

"Untitled," by Rachel Storey

Here in silent chaos
Where darkness hurts my eyes
Through starlit skies of brightest day
A wingless dreamer flies

On winds of hope and fantasy
Through sea and earth and storm
Like sparkling bits of nothing
My sleepless dreams are borne

And will I find the answers
To questions I don't know?
Shadows of formless fears haunt me
Everywhere I go

Now the dark has come to claim me
With claws of brightest light
My dreams escape, and I awake
And fall into the night
