This seems a cute introduction into future human society, even with a lack of Alien and Predator mythos into the storyline. The plot seems based on loyalty, or rather lack thereof, in this dark tale.
Charley, the heroine of this story, is imprisioned on some penial colony world for crimes against the company. Her boyfriend and fellow 'freedom fighter' Elliot, having connections to the company, got off light. And as since been trying to get Charley paroled, inbetween affairs.
The plot continues with Ford, Elliots' former step-mother, has a job for him that would magicly produce Charleys' immediate release, of which he takes.
After meeting their future co-workers for their upcoming job, they return to Elliots' apartment where he recieves final instructions from Ford, and Charley evidance of Elliots' infedelity. The story concludes with the duo getting inbetween the forces of Aliens and Predators (They have to be in here SOMEWHERE, right?).
First impression, seems like fun. You know, if you like the romantic plot thing.

This continuation starts right off with one of the hired guns learning the hard way that Aliens bleed acid, Charlie begins to grow ever more suspisious of their 'comrades' true mission, and elsewhere the seemingly young Hunter plays his game with the Aliens.
The Team notes the lack of survivers amoung the crew as they approch the objective; which Elliot soon hacks into. Charlie finds her suspicions further cemented as she learns (even with her lack of knowledge of the Aliens) that she was to carry an egg from the hatchery. The remaining two gun tokers pulled their pieces on the pair when they discovered the area was emptied. Appearantly 'something insane with HEAVY firepower' freed all the eggs before they arrived, they informed Ford. After telling them to have Elliot download all research data and transmit them to her, Ford shows her disregard for even her more trusted employ by putting them on hold.
That made Elliot come to the conclusion that Ford had never intended Charlie or himself from ever leaving the facility, even having the guns kill them if nesassary. Elliot faked lack of space on his laptop drive, and a rather convieniant attack by the Aliens for distraction, takes Charlie with him in attempt to blackmail Ford into giving him the codes so they could leave the station. It all finishes off with the Hunter discovering traces of the Human interferance, and the guns finding their only ticket off the station, our lovely couple.
I have to say that I am really enjoying this one, even if the aliens and Predator are taking second chair here.
