Floor Plans
Well actually, there's quite a lot more
here now than just floor plans as there are a variety of maps and
diagrams covering not only buildings but also maps, battlegrounds and
city plans, all divided into their relative sections.
A word of warning
before you start clicking on the links; in most cases there aren't
any links back to this page, or the other plans, etc. As a result,
it's best to click the back button on your browser to return to this
page.
Bearing this in
mind, here are some of the maps that will give you a better
understanding on some of the party's exploits over time.
Area Maps
These are probably
the most useful of the maps as they will give you a good idea as to
the layout of the country, enabling you to follow the party's
travels. If you are a bit confused as to the areas that the maps
below cover, then it might not be a bad idea to check out the large
scale map of the whole of Bohavia first.
North East
Bohemia
This is
where the party has spent the majority of their adventuring career.
If Bohavia was a clock, then this part would be around the 12 o'clock
position. The party entered this area around the time of
Chapter 14 and moved backwards and
forwards through the area right up until
Chapter 140, only to return a few chapters
later. This map really only covers their early adventures in the
area. The following map includes a better map of covering their
encounters in the later weeks that they spent in this area.
Central
Bohemia
This map
covers the same area as before at the bottom of the page and it also
shows the terrain over which the first two battles against the Elite
Force (Chapter 140) were fought right up
until the party entered Olmutz
(Chapter
211). The Nemotz Temple is also in this area, although it is not
shown on the map. If you follow the road up three hexes from Brunn
until you get to the biggest curve on it and then head southwest
until you get to the biggest curve on the river, then this is the
location of the Nemotz temple.
North
East Moravia
Here you
can see the location of the party's most recent travels from when
they
left
Olmutz in order to head for Opava.
City Plans
Here are maps of
Hradetz and Pardubitze, two cities where the party has spent quite a
bit of time during their adventures.
Hradetz
Kralovye
The home
of Boris of the Blue Dragons and
Konan The Librarian and a city where the
party spent quite a few days heading from one adventure to another.
This map shows the city center as well as an inset showing the site
of the snatching of the Master Mage
Horvath the Highly-Strung.
Pardubitze
The
party visited this city on a couple of occasions. The first time was
when Winnacer and Co. went there in order for
Winnacer to get ordained as a LawBringer;
the second was to track down Kurtek and
everyone else who knew of the locations of the free villages. The
map shows the locations of the key strategic sites in the city.
One of these days
I'll make some maps of Olmutz and Opava - but not any time soon, I'm
afraid.
Battlegrounds
Here are maps to the
sites of some of the party's toughest outdoor battles, all of them
connected to the party's struggle against Kurtek's Elite Force.
Ambush At The Forest
Fringe (Part 1)
This
shows the first encounter with Kurtek's Elite Force where the party
just managed to get to the edge of the Shumavan Forest before the
Nyemetz did. This map shows the situation at
the start of the battle, showing the
positions that the party took and also the formation that the Nyemetz
started off in.
Ambush At The Forest
Fringe (Part 2)
This
second map shows the situation while the
battle is raging, after much of the Elite Force has been taken
out with a fireball.
Flight From The
Battle
This map
shows how the friendly troops made their way
back to Holitze after the battle.
The Battle of Vratzlav
Hill
After
Kurtek managed to survive the first battle, he managed to get some
more troops from the garrison of Trebova. The party
ambushed the force on Vrazlav Hill five
miles north west of Vysoke Myto. Once again, the battle was
inconclusive, with both sides taking heavy losses. This led to
Kurtek heading for Pardubitze with the party in hot pursuit. The map
shows the position of the troops towards the
end of the battle.
Ambush At The Library of
Kitry
It was
not Kurtek who managed to take out the party, but rather the
Witchfinders of Pardubitze, who were watching the Library of Kitry,
expecting the party to show up there. They
did, and were easily taken down by a single volley of magic.
The Battle of Pardubitze
Square
The end
of the campaign against Kurtek and the remains of his Elite Force.
The
battle took place in the main square of Pardubitze when the
Nyemetz officials were preparing to watch the execution of party
lookalikes. The battle ended up with all of the Nyemetz officials
being killed, but at great loss to the party's allies. The map shows
the Nyemetz positions at the start of the batle plus the positions of
the combatants midway through the battle.
Building
Floorplans
These plans show
some of the buildings where the party fought battles and were
incarcerated at some point.
The Witchfinder's
Building In Dvur Kralovye
After
the party was captured for the first time at Heimlin's village, they
were taken to Dvur Kralovye. They managed to escape from the prison
where they were being held, but their magical items had been taken by
the Witchfinders, which meant that they had to
retrieve them. It was here that they met
with Flint who took great delight in destroying the building
after the party had retrieved their items.
The Fur
Farm
Upon
their first journey from Dvur to Hradetz, the party
came across the druid Elthanor who
enlisted their support to destroy the fur farm run by his sister
Eladria. The party's first attempt to
destroy the fur farm turned out to be a bit of a fiasco. In the end,
they killed Eladria at the games and were
then able to burn the farm down to the
ground quite easily after her death.
The Queen's Head In
Hradetz Kralovye
In
return for being rescued from prison by
the Blue Dragons, the party agreed to help them by assassinating the
head of their great rivals, the Black Diamonds. The party disguised
themselves and lured their target to this inn in Hradetz where they
managed to take out Slavomir Pavlichek,
the Black Diamonds' leader.
Boscobelous'
Tower
The
party's first and longest 'dungeon delve' was
to clear the tower of the infamous lich
Boscobelous and his undead minions. It took them a while, but they
managed it in the end. Included here are maps for each level on the
Tower in addition to showing what the party encountered in each room.
The Tower is currently used as a base by
the WSM.
Eladria's
Games
After
hearing that Eladria was breeding mutant animals and was getting them
to fight in from of rich nobles, the party couldn't help but spoil
her plans. This map shows the layout of the arena which was to be
the scene of a major battle between the
party and Eladria's guards and menagerie.
The Witchfinder's
Building in Pardubitze
This
plan shows the cellar of the Building where
the party was incarcerated after being captured in different
groups. The party didn't stay there long
as Yaz cast a stone shape and was able to burrow through the side of
the wall into the cellar of the tailor's shop next to it
The Vine In
Pardubitze
After
escaping from the Witchfinders' Building, the party headed back to
their inn, which was The Vine. They stayed here a little longer than
they should have done, however, and were found by a company of
goblins searching for them here. The party had quite a few
difficulties in
fighting
the goblins due to the fact that their weapons were still being
held by the Witchfinders.
Nemotz
Temple
The
party's most lethal mission to date - one that saw half of the party
losing their lives. The party
discovered
the location of the Temple from some priests sent to Vysoke Myto
to collect 'specimens' and the party headed here in order to try and
recue Mirek the innkeeper and his daughter. What they found was
the
toughest mission of their lives. The map is spread over five
different pages:
