lives. Here you can get a lot of help. Talk to people you meet, to get clues
to follow and go north to Dew. You have to stop on the way to kill some "Slimes"
to receive experience points. When you have reached level 3 you can continue
your journey to Dew. Go up and the right to reach the village. Home with
the family, Willow can heal his wounds and get his strength back. You can
always return to Nelwyn to get strength and energy. Visit the village warrior
Vohnkar, and he will give you a longsword. You wont get far without it.

and you get important experience points. The inhabitants of Dew live in fear
of a strange being called Bogarda. There are rumors which tells what the
being really is, and Willow has to find the truth to free Dew. On you mission
the free Dew you have to get experience and new equipment which you need
later. One of the inhabitants gives you a wodden shield. Talk to the chief
when you have the shield. The chief in Dew is very suspicious to strangers,
but you better talk to him, because he might tell you something very useful.
The old man doesen't only heal your wounds. He can also make weapon of
dragonscale. When you have done this, move on to the northern wood which
lies north of the town. When you have killed, go back to the village and
talk to the blacksmith and then move on to the western wood. You can get
the little steel shield in the cave in the western wood. When you have been

is Bogarda's cave. Bogarda's cave is guarded by one of his ruthless subjects,
but you have to get past them to save the village. If you're lucky you will
find usable items on the way. You need the battlesword to kill Bogarda. Hit
him until he is out of energy. The healing mace doesen't word in Bogardas
cave. look out for the zombie so that doesen't transform you into a grunting
pig. Bavmorda's incantation prevent people from using the bridge west of

4.05 Death wood and the dragon Matanda
The death wood is worse than the northern wood of Dew. Here are even the
trees evil. Matandas cave is even extensive than Bogarda's. Explore it carefuly.
On the way to the dead wood you will meet the brownies Franjean and Rool.
They will tell you about the fairy Cherlindrea. The old woman is surprised
to see Willow, but wants to help him if he helps her find her pet called
Po. Po dissapeared in the dead wood. Po is a kind pet who looks like a bird.
Po can help Willow when he finds it. Tempt Po with the magic flute. From
Pos house you have to go as long as you can to the right and then follow
the path until it goes south. Then you take the first road to the right and
the first road which goes upwards. Go right where the road splits in two,
and then follow the road up and to the left. Take the first road left and
then just follow the road, and you will get to the right place. Big awful
monsters rush around in the dead wood. Avoid their projectile weapons. You
have to get the crystalball from the dragon Matanda. There are loads of useful
items in Matanda's caves. You have to explore all Matandas caves before you
can continue your jourey. It is worth the trouble, because the games gets
more interesting from here. Remember: if you die in one of the caves you
will loose everything you have collected till then. You get full energy and
magic when you find the shield and the ocarina. When you have found everything
return to Dew by using the ocarina outside the cave. When you have found
the secret path from Matanda's cave the fairy Cherlindra appear in a cascade
of magic. She gives Willow the magic wand. The fairy Cherlindra is respected
by all her goodhearted friends because of her great wisdom.
