This power allows the scion to call forth globes of magical darkness. The darkness is impenetrable to normal sight as well as infravision and elves' night vision. Nothing short of a continual light spell will pierce it. The globe may be centered anywhere within 30 yards of the scion and can be from 5-25 feet in diameter. If the globe is centered on an unwilling target, the target may save vs. spell to have the globe center a foot away. If the save is failed, the darkness will follow the target for it's duration. The darkness may be called forth three times per day and lasts for one round per 3 points of the scion's bloodstrength. Note that the summoning scion can NOT see through the darkness he creates.
