Tighmaevril weapons are some of the most feared in all of Cerilia. As any of the blooded know, these tools of destruction can annihilate a noble dynasty with one swift blow to the heart. As such, these weapons are also the most prized possesions in all of Cerilia. I have included here some objects rumored to lie in the provinces of Anuire. Many of my bards return with stories of these artifacts; very few of these instruments of power have ever truly been seen.
This flail, rumored to be in the hands of the goblins in Markazor, is truly terrifying to the blooded. This weapon allows Bloodtheft to occur without a succesful blow to the heart. It steals the blood of its victim through a called shot to the head on the dying blow. Causing the skull to cave in and the blood to be absorbed through the exposed brain. A nasty piece of work indeed.
This quick-blade is extremely deadly. Known only as Despair, the dirk is thought to belong to an assassin in the employ of the guilds of Endier. This blade is known to have ended the bloodlines of many a blooded regent who didn't watch his back. The assassin is thought to be a lesser awnsheghlien known only as The Dark One.
This gem-encrusted cup is said to hold wonderous powers. If the blood of a regent is placed in the cup and then drank from by another, 1/8 of the blood points are passed onto the drinker, without any loss from the donor. This chalice is highly sought by many regents, for it would greatly enhance the blood powers of vassals and lieutenants. The chalice is guarded by an order of the Monks of Haelyn in a monastery somewhere in Alamie. No one has ever found this "holy grail."
This weapon detects as a sheaf arrow +3. The Bloodbane Arrow is a tighmaevril weapon with a unique ability. If a natural 20 is rolled on a called shot to the heart, the target must make a saving throw versus Death at a minus 2. If failed the target's heart is pierced and the individual dies. If the target was blooded, bloodtheft occurs as follows: 1/2 of the victim's bloodline strength is stored in the arrow until it is retrieved by another blooded individual whereupon the bloodtheft is completed. This weapon was last reported in the unique arrow collection of the awnsheghlien, Rhuobhe Manslayer.
