Blackwaters is a magical main-gauche from Bretchur, this main-gauche is +2/+4 against goblins and lowers the wielder ac by 1 at all times, this bonus is cumulative with others. This main-gauche belonged to a famous pirate until recently when it became lost at sea in a battle. It is rumored to have been picked up by Sirines, living around the great bay of Brechtur.

Who originally crafted this weapon is unknown, but it was made long before any human ever set foot on Celilia. The ancient history of this weapon is not documented as it only first came to light about 10 years ago. A group sent out by Adu el-Hadid, the then lord of Endier discovered the weapon in a cave deep beneath Caer Endier. The Sword was buried under a pile of collapsed stone and had been their so long its hilt has long ago decayed. The adventurers were amazed at the strength of the crystal blade, which remained sharp without any work needed on the blade. Once back on the surface the weapon was claimed by the Lord of Endier who was taken by its strength and light weight. He had the mage Caine craft a new hilt for the weapon, one that suited his size.
In the years that followed the Lord of Endier became known for his cruel and evil acts and was soon revealed to be in fact an evil Awnshegh. el-Hadid was driven from the province and fled to the Chimaeron where with the sword assistance he bested the Chimaera and claim her realm as his own. Little of what happen in the next couple of years is known fully, but it is certain that the Mind Flayer (as el-Hadid had become known) altered the weapon with his powers, and embedded two magical rings into the hilt giving the weapon even more powers.
How the Mind Flayer was eventually killed will prehaps never be known. The monster enter a forest in Lyssan province one day and never came out. Instead a young elf known as Devlyn Finn walked out of the woods with the sword in his hands. This elf soon claimed control of the lands formaly known as the Chimaeron and renamed them the Iron Hills. King Finn also altered the sword, adding a circle of five diamond sielshegh gems to the hilt. He also renamed the blade Breeana's Favour after his lost love.
The sword is a +3 weapon roughly equal to a long sword in size and damage. It weighs however on 2 pounds and moves very easily though air or water. It is specialy crafted to kill undead and the blade shines with a blue energy when ever undead are nearby. The light from the blade changes in intensity depending on the number and strength of the undead and also their distance from the sword. When used in combat against undead it becomes a +6 weapon and makes its user immune to level draining attacks.
The hilt is also highly magical and has a permantent power of detect
magic and once per day allows its user to cast improved identify.
Finally the hilt has 5 diamond sielshegh (knight) gems mounted on it.
This grants an additional 6 bloodline points to anyone of Vorynn derivation.

This is a sword +1, +2 vs. those with Azrai's bloodline. Also, on a
natural 20 the sword's victim must make a save vs. death with a +4 or die,
pierced through the heart. If a scion of Azrai is slain in such a manner
the the weapon acts as if were tighmaevril. In the hands of the rightful
ruler of Diemed the sword acts as a ring of protection +2.
The weapon itself is forged of a strange, bluish steel. the hilt is
golden and shaped in an entwined pair of arms ending with two hands clasping
a Knight Sielshegh of Anduiras. There is a sheild on either side of the
cross gaurd. One bears the emblem of Roele while the other that of house
Diem.
This sword was given to the Baron of Diem by Roele as a reward for
support during the shadow war and during the founding of the Anuirean Empire.
It was then passed down from father to son for many generations and was
only lost recently, when Hierl Diem was slain by the Spider during its
last attack. The new Baron does not know of its exsistence, as it is traditionaly
only passed on at the death of the old Baron.

In my campaign, the sword was created by (of all things!) a goblin magician, or so any legends say. This is a mystery, since magicians cannot create magical items and he could not have been a wizard, since he lived at the time of Mount Deismaar and supposedly created the weapon just before the great battle of the gods to give to an Anuirean warrior who had assisted the goblin magician in a great task. It is believed that the sielshegh gem was added to the sword just seven hundered years ago by a swordsmith in Diemed. it has been missing for long periods of time in the past fifteen hundered years.
I don't seem to have a record of who submitted the above article. If you can let me know I will place an e-mail link here for you.
This fine crafted magical silver longsword +3, becomes a sword +3/+5 against regent and awnshegs when wielded by a blooded character. The sword wielder also gains the ability audible glammer 3/day, this is normally used by such blooded character to enhance speeches, arrivals ect (this power works only in the hands of a blooded character). The sword also in the hands of a blooded gives it's wielder the blood ability detect evil, even if normally not permitted to his blood line. If the character is a paladin or already posess this power, (or both) its radius is increased by 20' foot radius. This sword can also be used by mages and other classes who can still use the audible glammer power and the detect evil power.
This weapon was created by the great warrior-wizard Moraen, Lord of
Blades. It's blade is made of a metal unknown to Cerilia, with a curving,
single edge. The hilt is plain black with a wire-wrapped grip and a knight-sized
sieshegh of Reynir in the pommel. The crossguard is short and set in the
center is a mehbaighl stone.
The weapon acts as a fully +5 bastard sword with the following additional
properties: It can absord any target specific spell (i.e., magic missile,
lightning bolt, disintegrate, etc.) and no area effect spells (i.e., fireball,
ice storm) of up to 100 spell levels. When 100 spell levels is reached,
the mehbaighl stone in the crossguard becomes boosted to a source(2). It
will absorb no more spell levels until discharged (either by casting a
realm spell or channelling the energy back into the earth).
It acts as tighmaevril vs. blooded magic-users and will return to it's
owner's hand upon command as long as he is on Aebrynis. Only functions
for the blooded of Reynir and only Moraen or his heirs can use the return
to owner's hand command.
Mageblood was last seen in Moraen's hands fighting the Gorgon. It is
believed destroyed since Moraen shoved it into a bag of holding before
the Gorgon's last blow fell. It created a huge explosion which brought
the Gorgon near death and left no trace of Moraen.
However, recent rumors of an ehrshegh known as the Hunter keep cropping
up, bearing a sword of power with the description of Mageblood.

Centuries ago the Regents of the Rjuvik region found themselves plauged
by a vicious tribe of Giants. Thier greatest warrior and his men set out
to destroy these beasts and encountered a Giant-King so powerful he slew
all of the warriors and nearly fell the champion. In an act of unmatched
heroism the great warrior struck down the beast. To prove the beast was
dead he took the creature's head back to his people, and hung it above
the door of his great hall. In his honor the Druids, of his tribe, removed
the teeth of the beast and had them set into the pommel of a Bastard sword.
As it was crafted the Druids blessed and empowered the blade, so that when
it was done it was far more then a simple sword. Nagling is a +2 Bastard
sword, but its bonus goes up to +3 versus any Giant or Giant-kin(Ettin,
Ogre Mage, Titan, etc.). Against a true Giant(Hill, Stone, Mountain, etc.)the
sword causes double damage. Any natural 20 to-hit roll scored against a
*true* Giant will cause the sword to grant the effect of Heroism(as per
Potion of same name)on the wielder. This effect will only happen once per
week. Also the wielder may call upon the sword to grant them Stone Giant
strength(as per Girdle of the same name)once per day. This strength lasts
for 4+1d4 rounds.
Nagling is an intelligent sword(Int:12, Align:CN, Ego:13, PS:25)who
hates all Giants and Giant-kin. If the wielder encounters any Giant(or
kin)the sword will desire to kill them instantly. If for any reason the
wielder resists this urge a conflict arises. If the wielder has a higher
Personality Score they must make a Wis. check(or Willpower if PO:S&P
are used). If the wielder has a lower PS they do not get to roll, they
fail immediatly. Failing this check means Nagling sends the wielder in
a Berserker rage. The wielder gains another +2 to hit (taking it up to
+5 vs. Giants), but he/she will try to kill everything within 60 feet unless
they are killed or rendered unconscious. *Note:* Nagling will use its Giant
strength power on the wielder to prevent this, if it can. Although none
are sure of the whereabouts of this powerful weapon, it is rumored to lie
in a tomb somewhere in the northern Rjuvik lands.

Lord Black's magical cutlass was the weapon of a pirate captain, Riegon, who lived over 200 years ago. He was famed for his exploits with a powerful weapon that could supposedly cut through wood as easily as parchment. His ship was thought to be lost at sea with all hands in one of the Miere Rhuann's spring storms. However, after successfully attacking a merchant ship in the Straits of Aerele two years ago, Lord Black found a collection of old papers in the merchant's cabin. One of these papers was the log of a recently passed away ship captain who wrote of seeing the rotting wreck of a ship on a small, unnamed island in the Miere Rhuann, near Baerghos Island.
The captain did not have time to investigate, but Lord Black did. After several weeks searching he found the almost completely destroyed ship. Amid the wreckage, he found barely legible fragments of the ship's log, indicating that the ship was Riegon's long lost ship, the Proud Heart. Also amid the ship's remains, Lord Black found Riegon's magical cutlass and a fair heap of ill-gotten treasure (which now resides in the Sea Lords treasury). Lord Black kept the cutlass for himself, however, and he almost never puts it down. The stories of Riegon's Cutlass extra powers are true. That is, in addition to being a +2 weapon, it can cut through up to two inches of wood in a single swipe. The cutlass is not damaged by this in any fashion. Thicker pieces of wood (a mast or thick beam, for example) can be cut through at a rate of two inches per attack. Wooden shields and armour provide no protection against Riegon's cutlass, and should be considered destroyed after two successful attacks.

1: The weilder of the sword becomes uncomfortable without the
sword, and will carry it with him at all times. Flecks of rust are noticable
for the first time.
3: The weilder becomes paranoid of all those who ask about the
sword, or warn him of its curse. Flecks grow larger.
5: The weilder attempts to kill all those who ask about his
sword, or warn him of its curse. He becomes paranoid of everyone. Flecks
join to form lines.
6: The Weilder becomes neutral evil. Lines take the appearance
of dried blood.
8: Weilder attempts to kill all scions he meets. The sword appears
to be covered in dried blood.
9: Weilder slays his family. He sees shadows moving out of the
corner of his eyes. He hears whispers in the night. His hands are always
covered with fresh blood.
11: The sword's owner must make a wisdom check every time he
sees another sentient being or attempt to kill it. He goes mad, hearing
voices seeing visions. Every night he is surrounded by the wailing ghosts
of his victims.
12: The bearer seeks out and attempts to detroy the Gorgon.
The sword loses all bonuses, but the weilder will not dispose of it. The
owner is covered in blood that will not wash off, his eyes are haunted
and hollow. He jumps at every sound, and suffers a -4 to his wisdom check.
Every decade or so the Gorgon puts this sword back into circulation to bring him another few bloodline points. The scions that weild this sword have powerful bloodlines by the time that they reach him, but they prove no challenge. The sword was last in the possesion of an awnshegh called the Shade, but to his luck he was able to learn of the curse before it was to late.

When used by a priest or paladin of Cuiraecen, however, its true powers become apparent. It grants the wielder a +2 on saving throws versus wind, lightning, or electricity. The user can also use the sword to predict imminent weather patterns, once per week. Lastly, the sword acts as a beacon to the faithful of Cuiraecen during battle, giving them a +1 bonus to their morale checks if it is present.
Stormreaver was created by the first High Priest of the Church of Storm's Height. Since then, it has been passed down to the ruling regent of that Church. For a short time it was lost, during campaigns against the orogs in the Chimaeron. Then it was recovered by a paladin of Cuiraecen named Daeric Hireon, who returned it to the temple.

Sulmair is a +1, +2 vs. Non-Neutrally aligned creatures, +3 vs. Reptiles of
Medium-size or larger creatures. Any creature other than the Sultan or Sultana.
The Sulmair was forged long ago, by a Sultan with a name forgotten. He originally
made it to destroy any of the non-neutral enemies which he had, but being of a Neutral
alignment he had very few foes. Because of this, he with the help of a wizard friend, made
it especially deadly when fighting against man-sized reptiles. He did this to try to
destroy the tribe of Troglodyticas living on Cecídien
(see this page for information on
the Troglodyticas). The Sultan, with his most powerful allies, made an attack on the Troglodytica tribe.
The Troglodyticas' numbers where severely decreased, but they almost managed to kill the
Sultan, so he ordered a retreat. When the Sultan was older, he gave control of Mairada and
his bloodline to his heir. He and his allies died that day, and the Sulmair is lost
somewhere in the Troglodytica caves

These twin blades were created by Rjuvik Druids during the time the Anuirean Empire was spreading into their lands. They were enchanted to protect the freedom and unique culture of the Rjuvik people, but it has subsiquently been found that they will provide the same protection to the lands of any of their wielders, neutrally.
Each sword apears identical, a finely crafted blade with runes running the entire length of the sword. If Read Magic or Read Languages is cast, specific results (I.E. a direct translation) will prove impossible to obtain, because the sword's defence against spellcraft will foil it. However, the caster will know that they speak of protection, and the defence of the homeland. Both swords (and their are only TWO in all Cerilia) have the following powers/special abilities:
In the hands of an unblooded commoner they function as a +2 sword, with the ability to Detect Magic within a 120 yard radius (magic cast in, or directed into this range causes the runes to glow with varied intencity; if the magic is weak and at the edge of the radius, they glow faintly. Powerful magic cast directly at the wielder causes them to flare brilliantly.)
It is in the hands of a Blooded Scion or Regent that their
true power shines forth. The wielder must also be Good in alignment (either Lawful,
Neutral, or Chaotic, however). In the hands of such a person the sword is +3, and in
addition to Detecting Magic (as described above), it also offers powerful protections
against magic when held or wielded (I.E. you can grasp the hilt of the shiethed sword and
gain the protection; but just wearing it on your belt will not transfer the protections
described below): The sword provides 50% Magic Resistance in a 5' radius, and Dispels
Magic in a 5' radius at the level of magic use equal to the experience level of the
wielder. In addition, if the wielder is a Regent, it provides +6 Damage to dedicated
enemies of his Realm (as determined by the DM; shouldn't be everyone in opposition to the
Regent, but just thouse who are fiercely opposed to the Regent and out for his realm's
distruction).
It is when the swords are used together, by wielders who
have dedicated themselves to the defence of a specific ream, that their true power shows.
If wielded by two different Blooded Scions or Regents, and the blades touch each other at
a time and place of danger to the realm, powerful magics will be released which will act
to remove, or possibly even destroy this danger (area of effect can vary from an
individual, to a entire battlefield, at DM's whim). No Divination spell, Commune, or even
a Wish will determine what the exact effect will be in any given situation; the wielder's
cannot know the outcome until they actually invoke this power (which should keep
them from using it at every opportunity).
Only the DM can judge what will happen. In the first instance the swords were used in this fashion, both wielders and a large part of a Legion were transported to another plane. In another instance, an enemy Lich was shifted to the Grey Wastes, but the army he brought with him to endanger the wielder's homeland remained on the battlefield and continued to fight.
(DM is encouraged to be creative with determining the effects of this power. . .and to insure that players only wish to use it in the most extreme circumstances; they may go wherever their foes go. . .)
N.B.: it is important also that they be wielded by two different people; if the swords are held one in each hand by a single Scion and the blades are crossed, either nothing happens, or that person is shifted to a random plane (DM choice). Also, the wielders might wish to be careful not to duel, or practice against each other while wielding these swords; I'd recomend using different weapons on such occasions. One never knows. . .
The Twins
This pair of daggers are of recent construction, having only been made about 15 years ago. The two daggers are identical in appearance, each having a four inch blade that bears the symbol of the unknown weaponsmith who forged them and a hilt made of glistening white ivory that is carved with spiral decorations. All known contaminants (dirt, blood and the like) simply slide right off the daggers and they are likewise immune to rust.
It is not known who the daggers were originally intended for, as they were stolen from their creator, a non-regent wizard from Diemed named Caena, less than a day after their construction was completed. The thief (or thieves, more likely) was never identified but the twin knives where seen in the possession of a Dieman merchant several weeks later. Before Caena could attempt to recover her property, the merchant was the victim of a mugging and the daggers were stolen again. The mugging was no coincidence, however. It was carried out by some of Orthien Tane's (the regent of the Southern Anuire Imports and Shipping Guild) thugs. The muggers were acting under the orders of Orthien Tane himself, who had learned of the magical knives through one of his many spies.
True to form, however, the daggers were stolen again, this time by an independent pirate ship, while they were being transported to Orthien (who was in Roesone at the time). All record of The Twins (as they had become to be known) was lost after the pirates stole them. The only clue as to where they may have been taken was that the pirate ship responsible for the theft operated out of Mieres. However, quiet searches by both Orthien and Caena in Mieres turned up nothing but dead ends.
Exactly how Stiele Ranorn came to be in possession of The Twins is not known (and he certainly isn't telling), but end up with he did. He is fully aware that both Orthien Tane and Caena would certainly investigate any rumours of the daggers and has been extremely careful to keep them out of sight. He only uses them when no one is around to see (or at least no one that he's not about to kill). Even the other members of the Night Rogues guild are unaware of Stiele's possession of the daggers (although Rashad would know them on sight, and the other two guild members know about The Twins but do not know what they look like).
The Twins function as +1 daggers when used in melee. However, when they are thrown, their true power becomes apparent. When thrown at a living, corporeal and non-plant target, if the one dagger hits, the second one automatically hits, landing within half an inch of the first one (some DM discretion may be necessary here, depending on the size and shape of the target). Both daggers must be thrown by the same person in the same round in order for this effect to occur. The wielder of The Twins can choose not to throw the second dagger in the same round and forego the automatic hit effect if he or she wishes.
