This spell may only be cast by priests of Avani. The spell affects an entire
province and prevents any aggressive actions or thoughts during the duration
of the spell. With careful use the spell can be used to prevent battle.
Warriors will not fight if they are in a province that is effected by this
spell. It can also be used to affect diplomacy actions, as it forces everyone
to avoid disputes. This means that a diplomatic action seeking a treaty
between two nations will always result in a success.
This spell has been used several times by Gerad ibn Farid el-Arrasi,
the prince of Ariya. The realm spell has enabled him to sign treaties with
several of his neighbours, without giving away any concessions in the process.

Belinik

This spell is restricted to priests of Belinik. The spell can be cast only
when a kingdom is engaged in warfare with another land. It is cast onto
a symbol that is carried into battle by the kingdoms soldiers. As long
as the symbol is held aloft every soldier in the battle gains +1 to attack
and can not retreat from battle or surrender. As soon as the symbol makes
its appearance the enemy rushes into battle and even the reserves of the
armies can not avoid getting engaged in the fighting. No unit can be routed
or fall back from battle, instead treat those results as a hit instead.
The fighting will continue unabated until the symbol is destroyed or all
the soldiers on one side are killed.

Cuiraecen

This spell allow priests of Cuiraécen to create a unit of holy soldiers
out of a normal army unit. The unit must be comprised of soldiers who worship
Cuiraécen, and can not be mounted. The temple is limited to one
unit of soldiers, who serve out of their love for the god, and require
no upkeep while they remain in the temple. The holy warriors have an attack
and defence of 5, and never have to make a morale check.
This spell was first cast in Ghoere by Fhylie the Sword. The priest
created a unit of warriors to protect the heart of the temple after recent
instability in Ghoere.

Eloéle

This spell is restricted to priests of Eloéle only. The spell is
almost the reverse of the Honest Dealing realm spell. It a +2 bonus to
rolls for Agitate and Espionage actions, or allows temples and guilds in
the area of effect to earn an extra 1 GB for each holding. The spell effects
1 province at 5th level, 2 at 7th and so on.
This spell was first cast by Fulda Spirtwalker in Müden and has
been used by her over the past few years. It is most successful when the
priest who cast it holds both guild and temple holdings in the province
in which it is cast. An example is Hauptrehr province in Müden when
Fulda holds large temple and guild holdings.

Erik

Available only to priests of Erik, this spell enables the priest to accelerate
the growth rate of trees and other plants by 100 times. This means that
a tree that might normally take 100 years to grow to its full glory, now
only takes 1 year. The spell can affect as large an areas as the priest
wishes but is limited by the following. First the spell can only be cast
on seeds or seedlings that the priest and his followers have personally
planted, it has no effect on naturally sprouting plants. Second the spell
only effects plants within the same province as the holding.
This spell was first cast by Günther Brandt, of the Oaken Grove
of Erik. He was visiting followers in a remote village in the province
of Stjolvar when he learned of a group of Bandits that had been threatening
the village. Before they were next due to arrive he got his followers to
plant seeds from a local fast growing pine in a close circle around the
village. He then cast the spell causing all the plants to grow very quickly.
As a result when the bandits arrived two weeks later the village was surrounded
by a two metre high grove of very thick trees. There was now only one narrow
way into the village.

Haelyn

This spell is restricted to priests of Haelyn and allows the priest to
transform a current unit into a special unit known as a Crusader. The transformed
unit gains +2 to attack, and never has to check for morale. The priest
must travel with the unit at all times for it to maintain these values.
If he leaves the unit it loses all bonuses gained, and reverts to its former
stats.
This spell was first cast by Lavalan Briesen of the Orthodox Imperial
Temple of Haelyn. The spell casting costs 5 GB. This money is spent on
the forging of special medallions to be worn by all members of the unit
that is the focus of the spell, and the burning of rare incenses during
the final stage of the casting, which involves all the soldiers from the
army unit listening to the priest give a long and inflammatory speech to
inflame their passions and convert them into crusaders.

This spell may only be cast by priests of Kriesha only. It summons a massive
snowstorm that covers an entire province, causing the land to be snowed
under in a thick layer of snow. The spell can slow movement rates of armies
to almost nothing and the severe cold will kill any unprotected soldiers.
The spell affects 1 province at 12th level, an an extra province for every
level above 12. It is restricted to provinces where the priest has temple
holdings however.
There has been no known casters of this spell at the moment, but priests
within the Vos lands may use it.

Liera

This spell is restricted to priests of Liera only. It requires a large
input of money and manpower. The casting time varies with the size of the
monument to be constructed, as the actual construction is the spell. It
is used to mobilise people in support of the ruler of the kingdom thought
the focal point of a magnificent monument to the regent, or other important
figure. The spell once completed raises the provinces loyalty level by
one grade, and acts as though the province has maximum law for the purpose
of determining loyalty changes in that province. Only one monument can
be active in a province at any one time.
This spell was used recently by Haswan Mandil in the Binsada province
of Ber Dairas. The priest created a large monument of a rearing lion in
honour of the ruler, and the Lions of Dusk the Queen's personal fighting
force.

Nesirie

This spell is restricted to priests of Nesirie. It allows the priest to
call down a blessing on a sailing vessel that will help ensure that the
ship will have a quiet journey. The spell calms the oceans in the ships
path and increases its seaworthiness by 25%. The spell requires a sacrifice
to the goddess, usually provided by the ships captain.
The Holy Temple of Nasri in Ghamoura makes use of this realm spell
to protect large convoys of merchant or military vessels leaving the capital
in Alcamar province. The priesthood will not however cast this spell on
foreign merchant vessels.

Rournil

This spell can be cast by priests of Rournil only. After it has been cast
the magical sources of the province are protected from destruction or corruption
for a period of 3 months. People who travel near the source will think
the area is haunted and will imagine ghosts etc. Any attempt to rule a
province, and therefore destroy the magical sources of the land is unsuccessful
during the 3 months the spell is in effect. The wilderness areas of the
land are unattractive and scary to potential settlers, so the land and
the sources are protected.
This realm spell was first cast by Luther Helmsen, who used the spell
to prevent Gnoll expansion into the province of Tyrtep in Grevesmühl.
The Gnolls attempting to build a settlement in the province fled after
there homes were visited regularly by imaginary haunts and ghosts.

This spell may only be used by priests of Sera. When cast it doubles the
income of 1 trade route in a province for one turn. This means that a province
with a trade route that normally earns 5 GB will receive a boost of 5 GB
for one turn. The realm spell affects those who buy the goods carried by
the trade route, leading them to buying higher prices.
It was first cast buy Melisande Hlanorn, the leader of the large temple
of Sarimie in the Iron Hills (formally Chimaeron). She used the spell to
increase the income of the only trade route in Mhowe province, then stole
the increased income for herself without the routes owner noticing.
