Known Powers:

Immortality: bolstered by his obsessive desire to collect things, the
Collector's life force has been rendered immortal. He can be reduced
to Shift 0 Endurance and 0 Health, but he cannot die; only a loss of
his will to collect will ever permanently defeat him.
Even this weakness, however, has been overcome by the Collector, thanks
to the plotting of the Grand Master, who returned the Collector to life
at great cost, and freed the Elders from the specter of death for all
 eternity.
the Power Primordial: the Collector, as an Elder of the Universe, has
influence over the Power Primordial, the original energies of the uni-
verse. However, he has not made use of this power to any extent, al-
though he could develop power stunts, likely at Unearthly (100) rank.
Precognition: this power occurs during deep meditations and in random
flashes of future events. The Collector has no control over when/how
such visions will occur, but they are completely accurate, working at
 an effective Unearthly (100) rank.
Invulnerability to Energy, Disease, Poison, and Aging Effects: the Col-
lector has Class 1k resistance to these phenomena and attack forms.
Body Resistance: the Collector has Good (10) ranked resistance to phys-
 ical attacks.
Self Sustenance: the Elder no longer needs to eat, drink, or breathe to
continue his existence. He can if he wants to, but doesn't need to...
Telepathy: the Collector has this power at least at Feeble (2) rank,
which allows him to 'verbally' communicate with others, even in space!

Stuff:

The Collector has access to literally any device he could possibly want.
He has had billions of years to collect things of various natures, from
weapons to living specimens. Here is a small sample of the stuff the
Collector has been seen to use from time to time...
Temporal Assimilator: this thingee allows the Collector to make short
jumps through time for short periods of time. This is the hand held
version. The big one allows him to 'fish' through time while on one
particular planet, and take all its great treasures.
Battle Armor: the Collector often makes use of an intimidating suit of
armor, made of something called Etherion. It is of Monstrous (75) ma-
terial strength, and provides that much protection from attack. It al-
so lets him fly, at undefined speeds.
Star Ship: the Collector's collection barge can fly at Class 5k speeds
(faster than the Speed of Light). It normally is kept in hyperspace
while the Collector collects the things he collects from a world, only
accessable by a small booth-shaped access portal thingee.
Blasters: the Collector usually holds 1d4 weapons of various types upon
his person; these are designed to stun and / or capture beings, instead
of kill them. As such, he often uses these Unearthly (100) powered de-
vices to add things to his collection...

Talents:

the Collector is a master of the sciences, presumably knowing all of 'em
 in some form of another.

Contacts:

the Collector is an Elder of the Universe, and as such, he could prob-
ably rely on all of them for aid, if necessary (save for the Runner, of
 course...).

Story:

As did most of the Elders, the Collector began life as a mere mortal,
though he was obsessed with the collection of trivial things. Taneleer
Tivan, he who would become the Collector, realized that he was an im-
mortal, as did his wife with him, as friends and family died off...

Removing themselves to another planet, the two raised a daughter, though
his wife dies shortly after the child matured. the Collector realized
that the will to live was a vital thing to folks of his ilk, and he re-
solved to meditate on the issue.

He then had his first precognitive flash, that of a mad being destroying
the universe (which, incidentally, has happened several times since...).
He then resolved to collect samples of all the universe's peoples, life
forms, and technology, so he could repopulate the universe after this
catastrope.

He built a massive, multidimensional vessel to hold what would become an
inimaginably huge collection of things the universe across, and set a-
bout his immortal mission. His ship quickly filled with samples of life
and art and tech, so the Collector had to stop his quest for a bit.

He converted several worlds into museums, collections of his stuff, and
continued his great work. Over the billions of years he continued his
mission, the Collector became more and more obsessed with his goal, sure
his vision would shortly come to pass.

The Collector sent his daughter to investigate a potential source of the
End, the being called Korvac. She eventually betrayed the Collector,
and both died by Korvac's hands. The Collector wasn't gone for good,
though, even if his daughter was.

The Grand Master, a close friend of the Collector, played a game with
Death itself to secure the ressurection of the Collector. The Grand
Master won, but at cost of his own life. The Collector returned to life
right after, and the Grand Master quickly followed suit.

The Grand Master revealed details of his ressurection soon after to his
fellow Elders of the Universe, describing that he'd tricked Death into
making him live again, and then making the Elders immune to its touch;
the Elders were now invulnerable to even themselves!

The Elders then began a plan to destroy Galactus, a plan that would make
them Galactus-type beings in the continuum to come; Galacti, so to speak
... This plan involved collecting the six infinity gems, and once this
was done, the Elders assaulted Galactus.

This might have succeeded, save for Nova and the Silver Surfer. These
two heroes saved the day, and as a result, the Elders were undone. The
Collector, along with several other Elders, was consumed by Galactus for
their troubles, and the others fell into a black hole.

They eventually returned, however, with the help of the In-Betweener,
who promptly slew them. The Collector, and the other Elders, eventually
escaped their fate, and escaped with the infinity gems again. The Col-
lector returned to his collection, and resumed adding to it.

Thanos eventually came to him, with a deal: he wanted to trade the Col-
lector's gem for the infant form of the Runner, a deal the Collector
couldn't refuse. He did so, and Thanos promptly demonstrated what the
reality gem he'd been holding could do.

While he was still stunned, Thanos left the Collector, releasing the
Runner from his temporal hold in the process. Incensed that the Col-
lector was going to add him to his collection, the Runner beat the Col-
lector senseless and left, himself.

After this debacle, the Collector continued to do his thing, namely, the
collection of the cosmos' treasures, though by now he'd lost sight of
just why he was doing so. Shortly after, he had a bit of a run-in with
earth's Avengers...

cellular degradation, as well as diseases and toxins, at Class 1k rank.
Invulnerability: the Collector has Good (10) resistance to physical at-

Cosmic Energy Control: the Collector is presumed to have this power at
Unearthly (100) rank, but has developed no discernable uses for it.
Regeneration: the Collector's body is overwhelmingly geared towards
sustaining itself; he has Class 5k regeneration!!!! He heals as per
 the following guidelines:

 * Player's Book Method: the Collector recovers 30 Health points every
10 turns, as long as he takes no damage in that time.
 * Firebomb's Method: the Collector recovers 500 Health points per turn
(power rank divided by ten; see why I changed it?).
 * Ultimate Powers Book Method: the Collector recovers 250 Health pts
per turn (5000 (power rank) X .05 (heals 1 pt per 20 turns).

Precognition: the Collector has random flashes of future visions, at
Class 1k accuracy. It takes time to sort 'em out, though...

Notes:

I only made minor changes to the Collector, as you can see. I made his
stats a sort of midway between the two descriptions, and streamlined his
descriptions of stuff and powers.

Oh, and I got rid of that Class 5k regeneration thing. Talk about a
screw up...

Hope you like it -- hope you can use it!
