Welcome to Tankograd, a web page devoted to tank modelling for wargamers.
This is not fine art; there are many other superb web pages devoted to the art of military vehicle modelling. Our tanks are meant to be played with, sorry used in accurate and realistic simulations of the military environment using such accurately modelled and realistic rule sets as Warhammer 40,000.
The Games Workshop tank kits are not particularly detailed and the vehicles they represent are often quite silly but they are generally easy to assemble and fun to modify. One advantage of a fictional vehicle is that no one can tell you it is wrong.

SupportThe Tarasque ARVBuilt on a Chimera chassis with wide tracks to improve traction and rough terrain capability. It has a bow mounted A-frame and winches as well as a stern winch. A small blade at the stern allows it to anchor itself when unbogging vehicles while a large bow dozer blade allows anchoring for use with the bow winches or clearing terrain. It has a small workshop in the rear compartment. |

Rocket Tank Version IA rack of a dozen rockets is carried above the turret of a Leman Rus tank.Rocket Tank Version IIA Leman Rus mounts a six-tube rocket launcher to either side of the hull sponsors. Until expended the unarmoured rockets make the tank very vulnerable. After being fired they can be jettisoned. |
