Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please (enough) don't end Ds9 after the 6th Season..MY GOD NO.............

my opinion about a 7th season of Deep Space Nine is that for the history of what is Star Trek today is important, because this New Frontier of this Space Station call DS9 and all the prophecy that Sisko "The Emissary" have complete and this First War Ship of the Federation The Defiant a small ship with the capabilities of a Galaxy Class Starship and the power of a War Ship is just the beginning of a new change of the original peaceful Star Trek. I think that a few episode each season is not enough for Millions of Star Trek Fans...

On A CALL TO ARMS:

The Dominion is strong, when the Federation form an alliance with the Romulans they will still be stopable. If the Dominion attacks a huge battle will take place, the Federation and the Klingons might loose, so they better hurry up and buy some weapons from me, I have 47 combat ships to sell, yes 47!! Not to mention fulley equiped with disrupters and phasers. War is good for business.

On A CALL TO ARMS:

You guys just watch when the kling/fed task force come with-in range of terok nor,the sensors will also say sir there is a large tackayon build up!! ships declaoking!!!! then about 150 warbirds decloak ,and all kling, rom, and fed ships blow em to bits!

On A CALL TO ARMS:

All right, as a writer, I'm pleased to see that DS9's writers haven't taken the easy way out and have that fleet head toward the station. However, if I were from the Dominion, I'd keep a watchful guise on Gul Dukat, and fortify the borders of Cardassian space. Too bad that the U.S.S. Horizon wasn't seen on the front line (Who knows? It might be one of the specks), but I'm sure Captain Chris Hobson is takin' good care of his grandfather's ship. Also, being an impartial observer, (as a writer, I think it'd be kinda neat to see how the series would develop if the Dominion won) I'd also like to advise the Federation and the Klingon Empire to at least station a third of your fleets around your borders. You never know where there may be another Dominion shipyard... Whatever the outcome, I wish the best of luck to both sides. What would happen if the Dominion won for the foreseeable future? Would a Federation Resistance, much the Bajoran Resistance be formed?

Ah!, only a parallel universe can decide...(the writers of DS9 are obviously not going to let the Dom win, unfortunately. Would've been fun to see that turn of events.)

On A CALL TO ARMS:

Is everybody only looking for special effects and epic war stories? The best DS9 episode is still "Duet" - great acting, great and thought provoking story. I like the sight of a big federation/klingon fleet, too. But you lay all too much emphasis on those gimmicks. It seems, everybody now wants a big battle with thousands of ships. I'm not a trek fundamentalist. I don't want every episode an issue-episode. But all these "big epic space battle"-stuff is overrated about Episodes like TNG's Inner Light, Measure of a Man; I, Borg; or DS9's Duet.

On "A call to arms":

Great episode, but the Federation made one big mistake. They should have send the big armada to DS9, so Sisko wouldn't had to abandon it.But then again, there would be no story then would there.

My fav. episode is "Sacrifice of Angels".

My opinion as to why DS9 is not so popular as TNGis to do with the fact that it is not "Trek" which people expectwith no one episode really affecting the subsiquent episodes. Voyagertried to do thisbut they have failed and have seen that plot arcs often work with thehirogen arc. However this newtype of Trek will probably be confined to the television because theTNG crew will carry on doing the films and no one in the non-Trek part of Paramount would be willing to take arisk on a strong character programme with questionable loyalty tothe main idea of Trek translated to a film. However why not T.V.movies like Babylon 5 is doing and Paramount should see from thatreception whetherto do a DS9 movie.
