Of course, I'm always last to know about things or see them, so I haven't seen this trailer yet either-but I have managed to get a run down of what the trailer shows. Read below to get all the facts and as soon as I can, there will be pics to go with the text.
(A huge hook slices through the frame and everything goes red and then black.)
VOICE OVER -- "For Julie James, life is hell"
(Julie in her dorm with her roomate packing for a trip.)
KARLA -- "It's just a little vacation, Julie! You need it!"
(Lots of quick cuts -- Julie walking through in the rain; a brown haired guy (Most likely Matt Settle "Will") turning to face the camera; Julie's roomate Karla kissing her boyfriend Tyrell)
(Back in the dorm)
KARLA -- "You have to put all that behind you. It's over."
(More quick cuts -- The same guy from before in a close-up("Will"); Julie running with Karla; the fisherman's hook; Julie about to scream)
VOICE-OVER -- "And someone..."
(Another shot of Julie with a puzzled expression on her face)
VOICE-OVER -- "Is digging up the past."
(A slow motion shot of a letter falling to the floor. It reads: I STILL KNOW!)
(A flash of red and then lots of quick shots of people running; Julie screaming; A hook stabbing something off screen; lightning striking somewhere in the ocean; another flash of red and everything goes silent with the fisherman that we all remember walking quickly towards us; then the scene from the teaser of Julie at her shrink and the fisherman jumping through the mirror.)

(Julie slowly turning to the camera, scared to death)

On a recent MTV Live Jennifer Love Hewitt was the guest and she showed a new clip from I Still Know. The clip was the teaser that she said will be shown before screenings of Godzilla. She said the film is half way done with shooting and they will next be filming in a hotel in Mexico. The clip shown had Jennifer's character talking with her psychiatrist in front of a mirror. They were talking about how their isnt really a man with a hook. They show the man with the hook walking through the hall as they are talking then he smashes through the mirror they are talking into.

VERY CLOSE on a closed eye we hear a girl describe the terrors experienced in her life the previous summer. The camera is SLOWLY ZOOMING OUT as the eye opens.Girl: "He killed my friends last summer. Now he’s after me. He wants me to pay for what we did to him."
Women: "There’s nobody after you. He’s dead now."
By now you can see the girls entire face. It’s the face of JULIE (Jennifer Love Hewitt)
Julie: "No. he’s not dead. He’s just waiting."
FLASH FROM WHITE we see legs dressed in black walking.
FLASH FROM WHITE to Julie lying on a couch taking to a PSYCHIATRIST.
RRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGG!!!!
An alarm clocks bell rings. The time says 4:00pm.
The psychiatrist reaches and shuts it off.
Psychiatrist: "That’s enough for today."
The psychiatrist takes Julie to a mirror.
Psychiatrist: "You have to stop blaming yourself for what happened to your friends. Repeat after me. I cannot change the past."
Julie: "I cannot change the past."
FLASH FROM WHITE we see the camera PAN UP from legs dressed in black to reveal a BIG HOOK peering out of where the hand of a man’s should be.
FLASH FROM WHITE to the Psychiatrist and Julie standing the front of the mirror.
Psychiatrist: "What’s done is done."
Julie: "What’s done is done."
FLASH FROM WHITE to an arm of a man dressed in black. He extends his right arm scrapping the wall with a HOOK connected where the hand should be.
FLASH FROM WHITE to Psychiatrist and Julie standing in front of the mirror.
Psychiatrist: "Now try very hard... ‘There is no man with a Hook’"
The camera ZOOMS in on Julie’s reflection. She hesitates for a second.
Julie: "There..is no man.. with a Hook."
A MAN WITH A HOOK COMES CRASHING THROUGH THE MIRROR.
Titles fly across the screen in red, "I STILL KNOW."
Letters emerge from a red background that say "I STILL KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER."
Last Title: "THANKSGIVING."
First Trailer On IKWYDLS Home Video
If you want to get a little taste of the first IKWYDLS 2 trailer, all you have to do is go and rent the first movie avalible now at your local video rental store.
If you didn't catch the whole trailer, or haven't seen it yet-here's basically what happens:
The shot opens with view of a college campus. That frame last a few seconds before going to a dorm room showing Julie James (Jennifer Love Hewitt) typing away at her computer (talking to Ray all luvvy duvvy).Narrator - "This fall, one student is returning for her softmore year...With a new dedication to her studies."
Then the black girl, Deb, that was her roomate from Part 1 comes in with envelopes in tow.
Deb - "You got a letter."
She hands Julie the letter. It just says 'Julie James' on the envelope written in an eerily familiar script. Its all slo-motion as she opens it up and looks at it.
Deb - "What is it?"
They show the letter that she is looking at and its an invatation to a pool party.
Narrator - "A new chance to start again..."
Julie - "Just another frat party, knock yourself out."
Deb - "Thanks"
She leaves and while online, Julie gets an E-mail.
Narrator - "And an old secret that just won't die..."
The E-mail reads 'I still know...'
Julie - "Oh my God..."
Then it breaks away to some quick shots of the Fisherman (scenes from the first movie), while playing a new, techno version of 'Hush. It also had a shot of Jennifer Love Hewitt screaming, which was also a scene from part one. Then in between some shots it says 'Jennifer Love Hewitt', then 'Freddie Prinze Jr.', some more shots 'In the sequel that will hook you...again'. Then it does like the first film with the I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER coming out of the red background. Then it says 'The story continues'.
QUESTIONS:
Now, are the first scenes actual footage from the new movie?
No, actually I think those are scenes from the first movie which weren't put in. Like the alternate ending? Yeah, they say almost the same things (instead of her phone call to Ray at the end-what she was saying was typed on the screen) the envelope is almost the same and its another invataion to a sorority party. Another reason why I think that it from the first movie is because this picture (on the right) was released with the first movie and this scene never shows up in the movie-but its the scene depicted in the sequel's trailer. She is wearing the same clothes, its the smae set, and theres the lap top computer.
