Dewey is his usual self. Sweet, innocent and adorable. He seems to have more self
confidence in this second installment also. He shows up on campus to protect Sidney right
after Maureen and Phil get murdered at the theater. Sid is happy to see him and we learn
that he now has a limp and walks funny-but he is still on the police force. After reading
Gale Weathers book and seeing it portrayed as movie staring David Schiwmer as himself-Dewey
gets a little pissed at some of the things said about him and tells Gale off when
they meet up the same day at the campus. So things get off to a rocky start
with them when Dewey is reading quotes about him from the book and Gale barely even says sorry.
So obviously after Dewey got out of the hospital Gale didn't persue much more of a
relationship with him since she was so busy in her newly found success. Poor guy=( But
Dewey isn't taking crap from any one now--well,
in that sweet manor of his anyways=) Him and Gale get on
speaking terms and from there the love blossoms again and they have a steamy little scene-
-for a second there till Ghostface shows up and chases them through one of the campus
buildings. Right in font of Gale's eyes a few minutes later through a glass sound proof
plate in the radio station room--Dewey is killed. Yes-we all wept. But after the rein of
terror is over--we see Dewey being brought out on a stretcher again! So he survived! This
time instead of reporting what just happened-Gale gets in the van with him and drives
away. Aww...what a happy ending=) Till Ghostface comes back for another round=)
