T H E - M O V I E

THE STORY

The film takes place five years since the events in the original SCREAM. Everything seems peaceful again in the town of Woodsboro. Sidney Prescott has a four-year-old daughter (fathered by Billy Loomis) named Tatum, after her murdered best friend. A movie is being filmed about the Woodsboro Murders and Sidney and her friends are in their last year at college. Sidney has gotten closer to her old friends (Randy, Gale and Dewey) and has made a few new friends as well (Heather, Matt, Lisa and Brandy). Soon, a young woman is killed in a murder that resembles Casey Becker's slaying five years ago and Sidney is stalked once again. With Dewey out of town, Lt. Krabelsky steps in to match wits with the new killer, with Gale Weathers also on the case. It all leads to a suspenseful showdown with the killer in a movie theater outside of Planet Hollywood.

Thats what was stated originally, but most of that has changed
since that was written. The movie is even better than stated above!

The heronie of the movie is Gale Weathers, when she comes into the movie we learn that there is a copy-cat killer on the loose and after the gang who survived Billy and Stu's attack all their friends as well. Sidney doesn't have a kid, but she is now in college and living with a roomate who is kinda strange (but that just may be because of the way she was portrayed by the actress=) Gale has moved onto bigger and better things and Keri Wolf has replaced her at Top Story. Keri is just like Gale used to be, just out for the big news. To get in on the latest and not very friendly either.

A movie is also being made about the Woodsboro killings and it stars Johnny Deep as Billy Loomis, Jennifer Anston as Gale Weathers (which I thought was a pretty cute idea), Luke Perry as Dewey Riley and Lisa Slater as Sidney Prescott. She became friends with Sid while researching her role and is a real ditz. Dewey isn't in the movie much but a new law enforcer is. Lt. Krabelsky. He is a very sarcastic guy and looks too young to be a law enforcer-but what they hey!=) Randy sure as hell as gotten better looking and now has a really major crush on Sid. He is also up to his usual horror-movie-lovin, working-in-a-video-store ways=).

Another new character is Matt, he is a friend of the group and doesn't have any major scenes till the end. And we can't forget Stacey Martin, the girl who gets iced Casey Becker style at the begining of the movie. And a few extra characters here and there.

Well, with a cast like this-we are sure to get quite a few deaths--and they wont be pretty. Ghostface is back and badder than ever. But the big questions is...who is the killer? Well-you'll NEVER know until the end. I didn't and I'm an expert at this stuff=)
