Murphy is just another party girl that belongs to the
sorority that Sidney's room mate, Hallie is rushing
and wants to Sid to join too. The sorority's head
sister's seem to be Murphy and Lois or at least they
are on the committee to get new members in=)

Anyways they think they should be the sorority Sidney
joins and try their hardest to get her to join even when
the first murders are going on. (I guess they think they
can get some recognition that way.)

Murphy also seems to be an alcoholic pretentious bitch-but
who am I to say that?=) During the final scenes-she doesn't
get killed off. She is actually probably passed out in some
sorority house or with her boyfriend that also seems to be in
Derek's fraternity. Will she be back for Scream 3?
