Ever since I saw my first horror movie at 8 years old, I have loved the thrill they give you. My first horror movie was the first Nightmare on Elm St. I was at a slumber party and that was one of the movies rented. My second was Pet Semetary a few months later at another slumber party. I guess you could say thats when my obsession really started. =)

After seeing Pet Semetary, I started my own little pet grave yard at the side of my house. I think I was 9 by then. I really didn't have any pets of my own to bury...so I buried all the dead squirrels and birds that I found. There was always one that I thought needed proper burial. And it was pretty ironic to...I lived on Slaughter Street.

Every slumber party I would have, there would always be at least one horror movie for me and my friends to watch. Most of the time, I was the only one who wanted to watch them though=) All my friends would have nightmares....but I have never had a nightmare after watching a scary movie....isn't that strange?

Another ironic thing about it is around the year I was born, all the horror movies started to come out- Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm St., Halloween, Prom Night.....My guess it that I was meant to love these movies. And the exact year I was born, there were several sequel's made, and in two sequel's my name and name-sake's where used. Jessica and Jesse.

I was so thrilled when Scream came out. It was the perfect scary movie for me! I was finally around the age that the teenagers were when they where getting murdered, and it was a horror movie- about other horror movies! I went to see it twice in the theaters, and since its come out to own I've seen it about 1,000,000,000 more times!=)

I even drive a Voltswagon Bug which seems to be the car of choice in horror movies=) To the right, you can see a picture of Tatum and her bug, in Friday the 13th 2-Ginny drives a red convertible bug, in Friday the 13th 3-there is a yellow bug, in Prom Night-the suspected murderer is driving a blue bug-in Needful Things there is a white bug-and in Carrie, a yellow bug and a red bug can be seen in the background. Soon I will post a pic of my bug=)

Right now I currently own 25 horror movies (store bought and recorded off of the television).
Most of them can be found in the Video Store.
The only ones aren't posted are the ones I dont have the first of the series to.
